I really enjoyed my stay. The property was very clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and caring. They even took my laundry to the laundromat for me and brought it back, which was such a kind gesture. Cleaning was done every day, even when everything was already clean. Overall, I was very satisfied with everything.

Honestly, everything was great. The only minor details were a few marks on the walls, possibly due to humidity, and the trash bin near the kitchen, which could benefit from a deeper cleaning. These didn’t affect comfort, but improving them would enhance the overall appearance.

The location and how quite it was.

One staff member was offence to a guest in front of other guests at 7.00pm. While I believe Management handled the issue with the staff member, about failing to display customer relation etiquette apart from the fact that the staff member was completely wrong. It was also two days later that the Manager talked directly with myself, which also raises questions about the Company commitment to customer relation and their commitment.

BEWARE bed bugs

Amenities were decent, good space and location.

I’m disappointed to say that my experience was far below expectations due to a serious issue of bed bugs. I was here for 2 nights and was severely bitten by bed bugs which is impacting the rest of short stay in Bali. I had my suspicions the first night having woken up with about 5 small bites on my back. But on the 2nd night, i woke up at 3am itching, covered in inflamed bites along my back, arms and legs (see photos, it has worsened since this photo was taken). This immediately impacted my comfort, safety, and peace of mind. I reported it to staff, but the situation left me feeling distressed and severely irritated by the bites. For a hotel at this price point, basic cleanliness and proper pest control should be non-negotiable. Bed bugs are a serious concern and can easily spread and cause further infestation if not handled properly. I ended up throwing out my clothes that made contact with the bed. This experience has not only been a shock but also pricey in seeking treatment and a replacement of my belongings. I hope management takes this seriously, addresses the issue promptly, and ensures future guests don’t have to go through the same experience. Until then, I unfortunately cannot recommend staying here.

Basic and simple place

Location was nice, everything was clean and simple.

The room didn’t have basic supplies like hand soap. When we asked for hand soap, the staff told us to just use body wash, and there was only one bottle for the entire bathroom. Given what we got and the other options in the area, I felt this place was more expensive than it should’ve been. At night, if the other guests are swimming in the pool, it’s very noisy since the room doors are glass sliding ones.

Definitely staying again if we come back to Canggu

I can’t recommend this guest house enough! Perfect centric location, near the beach and shops and restaurants, quiet during the whole day, great swimming pool and comfy clean rooms with huge comfy bed and plenty of space for bags (we had 2 big surfboard bags and an extra sports bag plus our backpacks and didn’t feel tight at all). Also the staff were very friendly and super helpful with organising transportation from the airport at good price and saved my life finding someone to borrow a screw tool for my board fins at 11pm 🙏🏼 Big thanks!

Friendly, helpful staff

The staff here are super friendly and helpful. We had a taxi booked at 05:00 so we’re packing at 23:00 the night before. Realised we lost out surfboard fun key. We asked the guy at reception who called his mate who drove 10 mins to deliver it for us. Saved us from having to pack it with fins.

Good location, 15m away from the beach and you can find plenty of restaurants nearby. Pool is clean all the time but due to that smells like chlorine all the time still not a problem. If I go back again to canggu this is my place to go. Also the rooms are quite big. Ps: Seen one review that was warning solo female travelers about one staff and I guess we met with that guy. Idk if it's because he's so friendly or not but definitely bit creepy. He tried to talk to our friends(female) but we didn't let him talk to the girls like he wanted to so you can beware but still I don't think there's anything dangerous.

A small oasis

The location was close by everything (shops, restaurants, the beach, other hotels). The staff was friendly, it was clean and a beautiful little oasis in the middle of the rooms. They wern't a lot of guest that made the stay really comfortable. The price was excellent for what you get.

Relaxing and quiet but so close to all the hustle and bustle

It was always clean and felt really safe. The staff were so lovely too which makes everything better :) very chilled and not far from amazing restaurants, beach & other activities.

Not a negative but just beware that you have to walk 100m to the hotel as cars cannot drive down the lane (you will get a better nights sleep though - it is so quiet)

You get what you pay for and here a little more

I got contacted by the guesthouse rep before my stay. This was a nice touch. It felt good to have a direct contact to someone in the case there's any issues. It was very quiet during the night. I appreciated a solid good night sleep. Also the room was spacious. There's a small common use kitchen outdoors. Nice to have for making the early morning tea and for keeping some food stuff in the fridge.

My ground floor room had an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom. It was not possible to get rid of that smell. However this is often the issue with home stays and guesthouses in Bali as too often there's no window ie proper ventilation in the bathrooms/toilets. Having the bad smell I wouldn't stay any longer than 1 night so always best to opt for the upstairs rooms (I requested one but they were apparently not available.) There was no sheet for the blanket in the bed. It always surprises me why certain guesthouses give just a plain blanket. I whatsapped my contact and a white sheet was given to me promptly by the cleaner lady. So the issue got solved. The small pool was green at the bottom so I didnt fancy a swim. The next morning I saw them working with it so it properly got cleaned.

La habitación y el baño eran bastante deprimentes, austeras y muy oscuras. Falta iluminación en la habitación y en el baño. Por ese precio o un poco más se pueden encontrar mejores opciones. Las fotos no reflejan fielmente en estado de las habitaciones, en el baño hay moho en el techo. Tuve que coger otro hotel para los últimos días.
