Everything you wish for

Everything was so clean! The host Diana was the best and the rest of the staff also. Felt really at home at this place. Good street not to far in the back. And my room was really big and a great bed!!

We had a great stay!

Great location in the centre and close to different restaurants, bars and café’s. Easiest to take a grab to the beach, but otherwise it is a 15 minute walk. Very kind staff and refreshing pool. Room was very clean!

It can be a bit noisy, because the accommodation is located to a main road. Wasn’t a problem for us.

Best place in Canggu!

Highly recommend staying here!! We are very sad to leave but will definitely be back. The location is perfect and the staff is very attentive. Free coffee/espresso (that the staff freshly ground for me when we ran out!!) and room cleaning every day. Everything you need will be taken care of. 11/10!!!!

I wish I had more time and can extend my stay in this house.

The staff was so kind, well equipped room, the internet speed was great. The place was also so clean. Having a sharing kitchen also helps to communicate with the people staying in the hotel.

A lot of mosquitoes around, sometimes they could be annoying.

Amazing location, great staff, clean property

I loved the location and the room/property itself. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that you can use the kitchen to store food, make food, and free water. They also have a laundry machine so you can wash your own clothes which is a huge bonus! The room was a great size and it was cleaned everyday so I felt very comfortable. The towels were regularly switched out and the staff was always available for questions and just friendly conversation. I'd definitely come back here. It's easy to walk most places or grab a gojek if you don't ride a scooter.

I can't say that there was much I didn't like. This property really exceeded expectations.

Cute, modern spot in Canggu

The property is beautiful and well maintained -- lots of plants, pools, modern decor. Our room was clean and spacious and had good storage. The hotel is in a great location, a short walk to the main streets and 15-20 minutes from the beach. The place has no frills but it's a great value and we would recommend it!

The staff is not always sitting at the desk 24/7 but they are very responsive to communication and accomodating. One night the A/C wasn't working but it came back on.

Finally found my go-to base in Canggu

The first time I stayed at Shortcut Breeze Guest House I was happy to have finally found my go-to base for my stays in Canggu. I've stayed in so many different places over the years but this one instantly felt like home. It's in the perfect location, very central and easy to get to either side of Canggu. Set back from the road, the rooms are quiet, despite being close to the busy shortcut. Beautiful rooms and super comfortable beds. Perhaps the best thing is the team - always accommodating and willing to help, they provide a friendly face to come home to each day.

Little slice of paradise by the beach

This is like a little slice of paradise! The rooms are super spacious, the bathroom has a rain and moveable shower head, the pools are clean and cool, and it’s a short walk to drinks, restaurants, and the beach. The staff are incredibly friendly and ready to help. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Short stay in Canggu

Great location, can walk to cafes, restaurants around the corner. And there are two restaurants right outside from it. The staff were welcoming and helpful with luggage. The decor and vibe was fun.

Big beautifully styled modern rooms. Quiet. Pool was nice and relaxing. Kitchen area available for use with everything you need. Good location in Canggu, easy to get around.

Beds weren't that comfortable. Not very social for a solo traveler. Off a very busy road so need to be careful especially if on foot.

Homely and comfortable guesthouse

This place was simple but comfortable and clean! It's a cozy little guesthouse nestled away from the main city but walking distance to most cafes and spas. It has a couple of units which form a little community that feels homely, with attentive and friendly staff on duty!

The main road outside the guesthouse can get pretty busy, without any proper pavement for pedestrians. Can be dangerous when it gets dark at night, but as with most of Canggu, exercise caution with traffic!

Beautiful room, perfect location and top notch service

We felt very comfortable here. We were welcomed by the owner Mehmet and his team. Property was well equipped with clean rooms, 2 pools, a kitchen and laundry which was very well maintained and the service from all staffs were excellent. Special mention goes to Mr Made who worked at Reception. We highly recommend this place

Cosy clean and close to everything

The place is as good as the photos. Everything very clean , cosy and close to all the entertainment of Canggu. I think it’s the cleanest place I’ve been to in Bali. The layout of the place is great and having the kitchen available helps too. Always has front desk and security. The wifi was very good (remember to connect to all the modems for perfect wifi reception).

I didn’t have any issues. I would add a roof tan for people who doesn’t like Airconditioners. However the aircon worked perfect.

So fresh and clean. Beautiful big rooms and fabulous bathroom too. Great aircon. Rooms serviced daily. Staff amazing. Free washing machine, water, pool towels and motorbike helmets and more. Full kitchen facilities. Great value.

Great location, and brilliant staff

Fantastic room, facilities and staff. Beautiful pools if you want a cool off not large but perfect for a quick dip.

Unfortunately there is a quite a bit of noise from the bar at the end of the road but it finishes at 12 just a bit of a challenge if you have an early start. The road outside is busy but not dangerous to walk down if you are vigilant.

A wonderful introduction to Bali as a solo traveler.

The staff and the aesthetic were the best things about the property. The owner and the support stuff were some of the kindest people I have come across on my travels.

The traffic outside was a bit stressful at times, but it seems like that’s just Canggu issue. The hot water also didn’t seem to last too long, but it was sufficient.

Most amazing and aesthetic place everrr!!!

The property is fantastic.. the architecture and vibe is sooo sooo good. The room looked very aesthetic and had a such a food fragrance. The staff were super friendly and took so much care of us during our stay. It is totally a steal deal and we are definitely staying there on our next Bali visit. The location of the guest house is ideal, there is an amazing cafe (lola’s) right outside the property and many more cafes to choose from. The guest house provided us with all the essentials like towels for the pool, hairdryer, tea/coffee, hot/cold drinking water, cultlery etc. They also had cycles that we could use and it was the best stay.

Great house guest design, including rooms (we tried 3 of them) and the common area with 2 swimming pools. Amazing and very helpful stuff and wonderful owners. Perfect location just on the shortcut with great Mexican restaurant 1 min walk.

Very nice room, shame about the road and the bathroom smell

I stayed here for 12 days and had a pleasant stay. The bed was super comfy, the linen was clean and fresh towels were given as and when required. The rooms are spacious and bright. Great aircon -although at times it briefly didn’t work. There is a full length mirror in the bedroom which is super helpful. The staff were lovely, very friendly, always on hand. Shower is has good water pressure, nice warm/hot water. Water dispenser in the kitchen. Very useful!

The major downside to the property was the road next to the property. As with most areas in Bali, the roads are really poor and it felt dangerous walking from the guest house to the main strip. There is a blind corner and scooters/cars go very fast around this. My taxi driver warned me to be very careful. There is minimal to no street lights at night, so walking was not an option! The bathroom had a very disgusting smell, to the point that when I walked back into my villa after spending a few hours away I wretched. I have no idea where the smell is coming from and it’s mainly there from midday onwards, so perhaps it’s coming from whatever is behind the building. There were multiple air fresheners in the room, but I had to use my perfume to get rid of the smell -a smell I can’t even compare anything to! I was initially was on the ground floor with a garden/pool view -the room felt very overlooked by the staff who were sat at the desk and by those in the kitchen/garden. I’d definitely recommend the balcony, or perhaps picking the rooms overlooking the other pool rather than the kitchen and second pool. Housekeeping -perhaps there could be a sign system if you want to have your room cleaned. One morning they knocked during the hour of 9am, whilst other days it would be 4pm. I did not need my room cleaning daily so having a signage would prevent interruption. I didn’t use the pool as it had lots of bugs floating in the water.
