Nice place to stay

Nice location, friendly staff. Wasn’t too social while I was there but that’s not the hostels fault. They offer breakfast and you can use the kitchen the rest of the day, the also have two fridges.

Bathrooms were a bit old but still okay.

Great location to stay in Canggu!

The hostel was comfortable, good AC, great great great location!!! Alot of cafes nearby to find food, nearby the beach, good breakfast included, it was very easy to extend the stay by paying cash to the receptionist (the price was cheaper than extend it through online).

Alot of mosquitos outside of the room at the pool area. The construction sounds in the day was lil bit disturbing but thats fine, just put in your airpods haha!

The Nest is the best 🙏

Very kind stuff, you feel like a home there. The room was clean, regularly cleaned. Breakfast was delicious. The pool was clean, also regularly cleaned. Location was great, near the center but calm. We really recommend this place.

Clean, comfortable stay in a great location

We were happy with our stay. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the housekeeping was done daily, including fresh towels. The breakfast was delicious, you can choose between scrambled eggs or omelette with toast or banana pancakes, along with fresh fruit juice and coffee or tea. The pool was a good size – big enough for a swim – and the pool area was sunny throughout the day. Cafés and restaurants are conveniently located just down the same street.

The only downside was the access: to reach the accommodation you need to turn into a narrow side street from the main road, and larger taxis don’t drive in there. In addition, there is construction going on right next door, where a large padel hall is being built.

Great for a hostel, it's not far from the beach, other tenants were chilled (not a party crowd)

the property was good, we met some nice people also staying there, the pool was nice and the staff were friendly and helpful.

We had a little problem with ants outside our room but they never came into our room thankfully.

One of the people staying there as a nomad was a teacher and was sitting near pool doing her remote teaching with headphones on so was yelling because of the headphone make her sound quit Just inexperience on her part and the staff advising if she wants to work like that do it from her room. Especially at 4:30 in the morning

Worked for us!

The bunks were comfortable and lockers secure. The AC worked well (as long as no one hid the remote). A lovely pool area and breakfast was super lekker too. Having a kitchen was a nice touch. But we did not use it, as there were amazing cheap warungs around.

The toilets are so close to the dorm and the doors shut but there is a sliver of light and air that comes through. The result is that using the toilet feels a little exposed to the room and vice versa. A very small partition in the room would solve this instantly. Even curtains across the doors. The toilets could be cleaned more frequently too as they did sometimes smell quite bad.

The location is great 😃 room was clean and very comfortable! The staff was extremely nice and made it very cosy. Home-made breakfast cooked for you in the spot. Recommend the Banana Pancake.

The Nest Canggu

The owners were really nice and welcoming. It is in the centre of Canggu but also close to the beach. The beds were very comfortable and the dorm was very spacious and nice looking.

Convenient, peaceful stay in central Canggu

Centrally located, but very quiet and peaceful. The pool is clean and refreshing, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. I had made an error with my online booking, but they were quick to remedy the problem and accommodate us despite the mixup. We didn't use it, but there is a communal kitchen available to all the guests for cooking etc. The Hostel is located in a busy, central area of Canggu, with a decent parking area available for guests and taxis to use for pick up/drop-off. There are lots of restaurants, bars and shops in the area, but keep in mind that traffic in Canggu is extremely congested, so allow extra time for travel.

The worst stay in Bali with lots of bed bags and ants..

Lots of bed bugs and ants in the room. We can’t recommend if you don’t wanna bring those bugs back to your home coz they can come into your belongings before you know it and we saw some in our belongings.. We noticed as soon as we checked in and asked hotel staff for changing a room or full refunds since we didn’t wanna sleep bed bug room for a while night but they just ignored and said no.

The property was pretty nice and a lot of places to hang out. The staff is nice as well and try to be helpful if you’re looking for a booking

Amazing! You must stay here!

Outstanding hostel. The staff are great. The facilities are excellent. I loved having a kitchen to cook in. I loved the yoga terrace and work space. The beds were extremely comfy and have curtains for privacy. The storage for bags is huge and under the beds. Perfect. They kindly let me leave my bag whilst away. Bathrooms are clean. They’re constantly cleaning! The WiFi is good. If you want to party, choose a different place.

Ideally there would be more hooks and hooks and shelves inside the bed.

People working there are so kind! I think that's of the best choice in Canggu when comparing prices and location. It's just in the center of Canggu, 10 minutes walk from the beach, many shops and restaurants nearby. Place is really clean, they clean everyday :) comfy beds with courtains, nice pool and chilling zone, finally a place with clean kitchen and fridge! :) so far the most comfortable place during my stay on Bali!

The only thing that should be improved are lights in the dorm. It's not really good solution to have one switch for 2 lights one in the shower and second in the dorm. It disturb people to sleep when somebody using toilet at night. Also mosquito net would be nice because there was a lot of them

construction works next door currently

room is a nice size, there is a shared kitchen with a big fridge, bed is comfy, nice location and parking for scooter

we also had gecko in the room, so we moved the bed away from the wall but we are not afraid. i think it was never vacuumed under the bed, a lot of sand. but I gave 7 because there are construction works next to it, guys start hard hammering at 7.30 until 17h. if we knew it we wouldn’t book it, luckily stayed here 1 night. the owner is nice, said sorry, but yeah, nothing they can do. if you like to wake up early it’s good

Finally a good value and relax place in Canggu to rest, definitely coming back

Very relax hostel, very friendly, responsive and helpful staff with a familiar atmosphere, very good value for canggu, good place to rest, very good location, crowd is more relaxed and less party people

As many other travellers noted, there is no water filter or dispensal station in this hostel and you are stuck buying lots of big water bottle which generated lots of waste. Other hostels have already switched to this system a while ago and I am sure travellers would be willing to either pay a bit more in the hostel price to have access to a water dispensal station or to pay to use it every time. Elsewise, I would of left 10 to this hostel. Staff should also tell the guests that there is one exterior bathroom when it comes to more smelly activities lol.

The location is perfect in the center of Canggu, the beach is within a walkable distance. There are a lot of cafe and restaurants around. There is a kitchen to cook The room is quite basic but has everything needed. Big water tank

it was quiet & calm.

the light situation in the room. if you want to use the bathroom the lights in the room are switching on & at night this keeps everyone awake. There is only cold water.
