Very clean and quiet place.. Loved every minute of our stay

No complaints whatsoever..!!!

Everything was as it should be... Regards for our hosts, very nice and helpful people... they did all it was needed to make us feel as confortable as possible... Thanks a lot!

The apartment is so comfortable, clean. It feels like your home. It is really well equipped, has everything you need. There is a yard in front of the house, you can sit under the trees. Location is really good and very quiet. After a few steps you see the beach and you can arrive old town 15 minutes by walking. Also 5 minutes away there is a bus stop to Perast and a market near the bus stop.

Nothing.

This place was ok, but I would never stay there again. The highlights: 1) Location: it was incredible, there was no better place in our opinion. Close to the beach and the old town, and quiet 2) Amenities: the flat had many things, including kitchen utensils, washer pods, etc. it was reasonably furnished 3) Cleanliness: things in the flat were clean - I’ll caveat this in the things we didn’t like One thing to note: the tap water is quite salty. It seems to be a thing in Kotor, so just be aware and bring your own water bottles.

This is when things get tricky, there were quite a few things that bothered us and it’s odd how barely anyone mentioned these in reviews, so here it goes: 1) Host: most people said the host was lovely but he wasn’t great to us. He was passive aggressive, annoyed and just seemed unhappy about everything. I’ll give you an example. We asked for a blanket, as there was only sheets for the beds. When the host came to deliver them to us, he questioned why we would need blankets, as we could just turn off the AC (when we stayed the temp was from 28 to 36 degrees celsius). 2) Mold: the flat was EXTREMELY moldy. To the point where we never really stopped smelling it. Someone mentioned this in a review a few years ago and said they could see mold in the walls. I believe the walls were painted but the problem was never dealt with. I was nauseaus for the whole stay. So yes, even though the flat was clean, the AC had moldy spots and the flat overwhelmingly smelled like mold. When we mentioned this to the host, he brushed it off and said the flat had been closed for a while so it was stuffy. Definitely not the case. 3) AC: two issues here. There’s only one AC for the whole flat (50sq metres), so if you intend to have 4 people staying, it’s tricky. To us, this didn’t make too much of a difference as the AC is quite powerful. Second issue: we forgot the AC on for the first day (our bad, we know), and when we came back, the host berated us (for quite a while) for leaving it on. 4) Power cuts: we didn’t have power for quite a bit of time during our stay - the host told us there was work happening in the street but when we came out of the flat, all other flats in the building and in the street had working ACs and lights. Overall, not a great place - if none of these issues bother you, definitely stay here as the location and convenience are amazing.
