A perfect comfortable stay. The accommodation and the area was amazing. A fabulous weekend.

We were really surprised by the extras we received. We wasn't expecting breakfast but there was bread milk cheese butter, bacon crisps biscuits and crackers. The accommodation was perfect. super clean and well equipped. The area was lovely, 3 pubs on our doorstep, (especially the crooked tap)and a lovely bakery and cafe bar only a few minutes walk. It was a nice 50minute stroll into York... but we decided to come back to spend the second evening in Acomb because we enjoyed it so much. Just a perfect stay, we have already recommended it to friends.

Absolutely nothing negative to say!!! An earlier check in or late check out would have been preferred but the only thing that could have possibly made our stay any better would have been a hot tub. Amazing accommodation.

Very comfy and cozy stay.

Beautifully presented property. The kitchen is well equipped and the welcome basket of goodies is a lovely touch. Lounge area has plenty of comfortable seating and an easy to use log burnerBeds were comfortable and there is plenty of storage. The bathroom is spacious with a great shower. Would definitely recommend and will be back soon

A very enjoyable few days away. The location was good, and York was such an Interesting town to vis

The house was a gem of a place. The house itself was perfect very clean, comfortable. Sam has thought of everything someone on holiday would need and provided it. All the glasses matched and the plates etc were lovely blue Denby ware. Everthing was tastful. There was a lovely hamper of food. A snack when we arrived and breakfast for the morning. The location. Was perfect.

Lovely cost cottage, great host, great location

Very comfy beds, lovely host, great communication, really cosy with the log burner, great value for money. Close to town with a few nice pubs near by. Host left a lovely Wellcome pack and a bottle of wine.

Lovely cottage

Lovely location just a mile from centre of York with several buses within a short walk. Great little hamper on arrival which was a lovely touch. Village of Acomb on doorstep with several shops including Morrisons supermarket. Pubs directly opposite cottage and a great area of greenspace if you take dogs or children with you.

Beautiful cottage, a real home from home.

Loved the cottage. Felt right at home from arrival. Cosy and comfortable with a very generous welcome pack. Felt very village like as we were overlooking the green but within 10 minute walk you were on the High Street with a good range of shops, including Morrisons. Will definitely be visiting again.

Stairs were steep and not suitable for all but as long as you are aware then all good

Lovely house in great location

Great location on the green. All the facilities you need close to hand in AComb. The Green great for dog. Really handy for buses into York so no need to drive and park. Clean, comfortable house. Fantastic welcome pack on arrival

Nothing. No dedicated parking but this was our 2nd stay and we never had any problem parking close to the property

Good

The cottage was lovely. It was convenient for local shops and It was only a short bus ride into york. The hamper was a lovely touch. There were a couple of good pubs close by. Over all we had a very nice stay.

Shower head needs fixing. It kept falling off.
