Lovely place to stay with family young and old
The villa is very spacious, clean, well equipped. Family loved the karaoke machine and games table. Easy to get into York. Host very accommodating re early check in and late check out Lovely place to stay with family and friends , will definitely stay again

Ideal Escape from London – Loved Everything!
An absolute gem! We were a group of 9 friends escaping the hustle and bustle of London, and this house was exactly what we needed. The property is huge, peaceful, and incredibly comfortable—truly a home away from home. The serene location feels like a nature retreat, yet it’s close enough to explore the beautiful city of York during the day. The large garden and backyard were perfect for relaxing walks and fresh air. Inside, the house is extremely spacious and fully equipped for entertainment; we spent hours enjoying the games and especially the pool table. The kitchen was excellent and ideal for cooking together as a group. Clean, quiet, and wonderfully relaxing. We honestly didn’t want to leave. If you’re looking for a perfect mix of city sightseeing and nature-filled tranquility, this is the place to be. Highly recommended! 10/10.

Perfect place, highly recommended.
We stayed at Avon Dhu 6 Bedroom Villa for two nights over the weekend as three families, and we had a truly wonderful experience. The villa is huge, spotless, and extremely comfortable, with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, which made the stay relaxed and easy for everyone. The location is quiet and peaceful, surrounded by trees, birds, and rabbits, yet still very close to York city centre. Travelling into the city was simple by both car and public transport, and the on-site parking was very convenient. One thing that really stood out was the check-in process. The host person kindly introduced the house to us and explained everything in detail, which was so helpful. The villa is perfect for large families. It has a big garden and a games area with table tennis, snooker, karaoke, and air hockey, which kept both kids and adults entertained throughout our stay. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need, making meal preparation very easy. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would highly recommend the villa to families and couples looking for a spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped place in York.
