To access the building you have to pass an automatic gate. I rang the bell outside of the gate to speak with the receptionist but no one answered. I then called the number they left on the intercom to speak with the reception and someone came in to let me in very quickly. The place was clean and quiet, probably because it was out of term time, and for a 3 nights stay, they gave me two large towels and a face tower. That is not the standard in other places but I guess they did so as the room is not serviced every day. Walk to centre is about 15 min and there's an ASDA 5 min walk from the accommodation. Well connected to the train station by bus 6.

The place is security-manned all day and night long, so I don't understand why there is an extra charge to check in after 10 pm. If there wasn't I would have arrived a bit later and gotten a cheaper train there. I would have liked to have a mat for the shower and the possibility to (at least) borrow a hairdryer. Could not use the gym or the kitchen facilities at this time of year.

A relatively short walk into the City and all it has to offer. Towels supplied were clean and well presented and the staff were always helpful and friendly.

Limited furnishings (a bedside lamp would have been useful), also no soap in the shower room...although that's hardly a deal breaker for me.

Good location, easy 15 minutes walk into town

Student accommodation so very basic, no kettle or TV. Not sure if I had an accessible room but the bathroom was bizarre. Walk in shower, ordinary toilet but the sink was so low it must have been aimed at dwarves. Bed wasn't that comfortable. Got so many messages from the 'guest team's about what you could and couldn't do, felt like I was back at school getting disciplined by a teacher. My room card failed to work on my last night leaving me in the pouring rain - not a particularly pleasant experience.
