Gala Rooms Homestay - Free Parking

Gala was so lovely (and her husband) and made us feel very welcome in her beautiful home. Its in a nice quiet area. It was immaculately clean, a lovely room, with plenty of storage and plug sockets. The beds and pillows are so comfortable, it was the best sleep I've ever had away from home! We had our own separate bathroom, which was also immaculate, with everything you could need for your stay. Gala really has thought of everything her guests could possibly need, there were extra pillows, blankets (if you needed them) a kettle with tea, coffee, sugar and milk in the room. There is lots of local information in the room but Gala was also very helpful if you had any questions. It was about 30 minutes on the bus into edinburgh a little bit less if driving. The taxis aren't overly expensive either if you're out late and don't want to get the bus back. The fact that there was free off road parking was an added bonus and a very rare find anywhere near Edinburgh. We will definitely be back next time we are in Edinburgh

Very welcoming and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable for our stay. Told us where was good to go eat and had maps and numbers for taxis in room which helped up alot.
