A lovely little room with enough facilities to survive for a good long sightseeing trip!

It was really cozy and easygoing nice proper shower And the host of the house is very lovely and caring if you need something washed etc. The Lidle is a 15/20 walk or with the car 5 min The busses stopping almost in front of the door! ( i always took the 26 or 44 to Edi centre and back to the room) If you take bus 26 you will pass a lot of small restaurants in portobello where you can eat for good prices ( take some spare money with you cause not every one uses card payments ) I would definitely come back here when i visit Edi!

A real wee gem, a great find on Booking.Com. Highly recommended

I'm a solo traveller so wanted a safe secure place when visiting family and friends. The accommodation is a real wee gem and I loved staying there. The bed was made of a bed settee, a blow up mattress and a mattress topper. A warm continental quilt and comfy pillows. Dont be put off by the blow up mattress it was very comfortable. The furnishings are modern and bright and good lights. No TV if that is important to anyone-it wasn't for me I was out and about. The property has a lovely garden with furniture which is accessible to the rear. This is a small, very cosy and neat apartment great for me and what I wanted.

Slightly put off by he bathroom sink soap dispenser which sat on a block there was a bit of scum and leaked soap under the bottle. I only noticed this because I wanted to read the ingredients on the soap dispenser I was reassured that the soap was made with good ingredients and had a lovely smell. The entrance to the shower is quite tight which is mentioned in the property description-I am not a small person and I managed but some people may struggle.

great place for short stays

great location outside edinburgh city centre, fantastic beaches in mussleburgh and portebllio fantastic walks and scenery. Brilliant bus links to get anywhere you need to get to, and cheap all day tickets.

Great 2 night stay

Me and my partner had an absolute lovely time here. I was quite worried about the size of the bed as my partner is on the taller side so he wasn't sure if he would be able to get a good night sleep. Fortunately the bed was large enough for us as it was set up with an air mattress topper making it very comfortable, expecially for a shorter stay. At the end of the day coming back from Edinburgh town centre there are frequent busses so we never had to wait for very long. As well as the inn being in a quieter area compared to the loud city helping us to better enjoy our stay. Thank you very much for the great stay!

Lovely small room on the seaside

It looks just like on the pictures, was comfy and the bus stop is very close. Parking is free outside the building.

The bathroom does not open from the room but from the common hallway. The bed was really small, my husband is very tall, his legs were hanging off the bed.

I required a venue close to were i needed to be for a competition, The Coorie inn, was exactly what I needed, the bonus being a gorgeous location, with amazing hosts

The host was very nice and kind. I really recommend this place.

It's really great value for money. The host's place is really close to bus stops that connect you to the city center which is great! The room is super warm as well, good for a winter stay! I also appreciate the quiteness of the neibourghhood, we had good rest during our stay.

It was cute and cozy. The host was very friendly and helpful. Bee shared all the info we needed for local food and bring around on the bus to downtown Edinburgh.

Only small complaint about the sofa bed. It was quite tight for my husband & myself. And not as comfy as we were hoping for. But still worth the stay!

A very well located room close to the sea

We really liked the location (close to the sea and many bus stops to go to Edinburgh or around), the decoration of the room and the garden. Barbara was also very welcoming and available. Easy to collect the keys and ask questions.

Very beautiful cozy wee place.

The Coorie Inn was beautiful and very cozy, the garden was so lovely and lots of stunning things to look at. The sun was shinning and we made the most of the garden. The shower was amazing and full of everything you needed. The actual host was away, however the acting host (Bonnie) was a very nice young lady. I would definitely recommend The Coorie Inn and would use this facility again. Very close to the beach, beautiful location.

No key code when we arrived and we could not find the locked place where the key was. After calling we got the code and into the property. So all good in the end No Wi-Fi code left for us. We waited until Bonnie arrived home from work then she gave us the code, again all good in the end. The fridge could not fit our milk in it as it was so small. No TV (I did not know this before I booked) we went out for the evening. However if I knew this before hand I would have brought my tablet.

Desastroso

La localización del lugar. En un autobús de 30 minutos aproximadamente, llegabas al centro de Edimburgo.

El alojamiento no era un apartamento privado. Era una habitación dentro de la casa de la propietaria. No está así indicado en el anuncio y nos sentimos engañados. El patio supuestamente privado, era compartido, nos encontramos con la propietaria y con otra persona en algunas ocasiones. El baño estaba sucio, así como el pasillo de entrada, de donde colgaban telarañas y arañas. Pero, lo peor de todo, fue que se suponía que teníamos que entrar al alojamiento a las 14h y la propietaria no lo tuvo preparado hasta las 16:30h, por lo que no pudimos entrar hasta entonces. Nos avisó a las 14:30h, después de la supuesta hora de entrada, de que no había terminado de limpiar y que no podíamos entrar aún. A las 16:30h nos escribió de nuevo diciendo que ya podíamos entrar. Todo esto, siendo borde en los mensajes y casi sin disculparse por lo ocurrido. Y por cierto, nos dejó en la habitación leche y unos chocolates "de regalo", estando todos ellos caducados desde hacía meses. Se nota que no cuidan el alojamiento ni se esfuerzan por dar un buen servicio a las personas que se hospedan.

Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

Schönes, gemütliches Zimmer. Preis für Alleinreisende gut. Sofa dank zusätzlicher Matratze bequem. Aber bei zwei Besuchern, nur für kleine, schmale Leute. Bad ist auch schön und zweckmäßig. Netter Empfang mit Süßigkeiten im Zimmer. Habe bei Fragen immer sofort eine Antwort über booking erhalten. Sehr hilfsbereit und nett. Lage gleich am Meer. Portobello Beach in 5 Min. mit dem Bus erreichbar. Bushaltestelle gleich in der Nähe. Preis-/Leistung sehr gut.

Bad ist außerhalb des Zimmers gleich neben der Haupteingangstür des Hauses. Hausbewohner gehen auch hier rein. Duscheingsng sehr, sehr schmal. Lage am Ende von Edinburgh, aber Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gut zu Fuß erreichbar.

Ottima qualità-prezzo per la media di Edimburgo

La zona di Portobello, una sorta di sobborgo residenziale di Edimburgo, ha sicuramente il suo fascino e la vista sul mare toglie sempre il fiato; la camera era piccola, ma molto accogliente e confortevole, rispecchiava al 100% quanto scritto della proprietaria nella descrizione; ottima per chi cerca più che altro un appoggio per dormire.

La posizione non è proprio ottimale, a seconda della fascia oraria andare verso la Old Town di Edimburgo in bus può richiedere anche 35-40 minuti; il tragitto casa-aeroporto richiede almeno un'ora e 10. Il bagno si trova in corridoio vicino alla porta di ingresso condivisa, a qualcuno magari può dare fastidio. Barbara comunque è squisita e assolutamente non invadente.

Nous aurions apprécié un vrai lit bien stable (et non un canapé lit) avec un vrai matelas.

Für eine Nacht, Max 2 Nächte okay. Gerade die Lage ist super. In 2 Minuten zur Bushaltestelle und in 15 min in Edinburgh

Super Lage Tolles Badezimmer Parken direkt vor der Wohnung Liebevoll eingerichtet

Die Schlafcouch ist für einen normal großen Menschen einfach zu klein. Ich bin 1.70 cm und ich musste durchgängig mit angewinkelten Beinen schlafen. 1 Nacht geht vielleicht, in der zweiten Nacht taten mir die Knie weh. Zu viele Möbel auf kleinem Raum. Es ist zwar Mega süß eingerichtet und man merkt auch das da ganz viel Liebe zum Detail drin steckt, allerdings ist auf dem kleinen Raum manchmal weniger mehr. Ein Schrank weniger und man hätte direkt etwas Platz um sich zu bewegen.

Habitación acogedora, con acceso al jardín trasero, a algunos metros de la costa

El alojamiento está a tiro de piedras de dos líneas de autobuses hacia el centro de Edimburgo. La habitación está amueblada a estilo escorces, consta de un sofá-cama, un sillón y algunas butaquitas, de un armario y una estantería llena de libros sobre diferentes ámbitos de la vida en Escorcia. Fuera de la habitación se encuentra el baño con ducha amplia. Todo muy limpio y acogedor. El gran plus de la casa es que dispone de un jardín grande compartido con la dueña de la casa que tiene varias zonas de sofás exteriores con decoración bonita.

La habitación dispone de un hervidor de agua y un microonda, además de unos enseres como platos, vasos y cubiertos. Sin embargo, no hay acceso a una cocina, con lo cual me vi obligada de dejar los platos y vasos usados allí sin lavarlos.

Gostamos de tudo na acomodação, quarto, banheiro, quintal… cheio de detalhes e deixa o ambienta bem aconchegante. A Bee, nossa anfitriã foi super atenciosa, simpática e educada, uma pessoa super do bem.

Não temos nenhum ponto negativo.

Trataron excelentemente a mis suegros a pesar de la barrera idiomática que presentaban. El espacio fue todo lo que necesitaban para visitar unos días Edimburgo. Muy agradecida por como cuidaron de ellos.
