Very compact and basic, but that was all we wanted. Good value for the price. Alicia was very helpful and we had the full use of the kitchen facilities. Good bus services into Edinburgh (30 minutes) and Portobello (8m), with the bus stop a few yards away. Well-stocked grocery shop opposite. Supermarket a 15 minute walk away.
There wasn't really anywhere to sit down and relax; there was just the one chair in the bedroom. A blackout curtain would have been nice - the bedroom was quite light at night.
