Castle View Apartment in the heart of historic Old Town

Location , apart from stairs to get to it Views

Wasn’t cleaned properly. Sheets to bed needed to be fitted sheets You need to emphasise that it is at top of 65 stairs being 81 with suitcase was not easy . Need instructions how to get live tv . We found Netfix etc but not BBC etc but didn’t ruin holiday . One lamp not working . One leg of bedside cabinet not fitted ( noted screws in drawer) Need to add to instructions how to lock door when going out although we found out easily . Toilet roll holder loose not holding roll . Could not access so called Boarding Pass so never could get instructions how to get in It was only with exceptional help from Becky of The Moment Team we got the instructions. I had to contact the when when the internal door lock would not work . ALL MY DEALINGS WITH THE MOMENT TEAM , BECKY AND CJ WERE EXCEPTIONAL CANNOT THANK THEM ENOUGH . The electronic booking system needs simplifying for us non technical people

This apt is in Grassmarket area where there are lots of restaurants and shops and supermarket. There are many people around this area, so I felt very safe even though I traveled alone. I got in after traveling for 24 hours and had a slight problem with the keys so I called the management number listed on booking.com, and the management company took care of the issue immediately. They had an extra set of keys across the street so crisis was averted. Apartment was spacious, warm (it was still cold in late April), and had a washer which I appreciated since I travel very light and although I didn’t use any kitchen items, it seemed like kitchen was well stocked. If you run into any issues, contact the management company. They are very responsive so my stay was quite enjoyable even though it was a short visit.

Lovely location and view of castle, nice modern apartment with good amenities and facilities, staff were also very helpful
