All was great!

The private room was beautifully decorated and the bed was comfortable. Convenient location. Lovely and helpful staff.
The bathroom needs to be cleaned better. The free dinner was great the first night but the second night it was obviously left over from the night before and virtually inedible. I was one of the very few guests staying there so didn’t get to socialise one bit like I had hoped.

Really great location, quite yet still overly with lots of options nearby. Still close enough to centre as well
Fun vibe and great inclusions like breakfast, dinner and Yoga!!
Private room didn’t get refreshed each day but still a beautiful room and very clean

2 pools, good breakfast, they give a free 15 min massage for every night you stay so i had 45 mins that i used in one go. All the staff were fabulous. Free yoga 3 days a week but might be more in high season. Also i think there was free dinner but i didnt get it
Fairly good location, but i got grabs almost everywhere cos its a 20-30 min walk to the good food spots/ temples. The hostel is quite worn and could do with a freshen up and the showers werent the best.

Was cozy. Not too busy I’m off peak months. Food was brilliant.

Very nice social atmosphere. Really good place to meet people. (No party hostel though).
Nice free yoga and massage. Also good free dinner every night.
The room
Was very pretty, spacious and clean
Although nearby main street, very quiet room
Sometimes it was a bit hard to change scheduled things or plan things like a scooter last minute.

It’s a good location, the beds are spacious and you get a towel and lock for your stuff.
There is no social aspect, they have got rid of the roof top bar. The bathrooms realllllly need an upgrade they are a bit gross and the curtains around the beds are rubbish. I stayed a few years ago and it was much better, very sad I wish I hadn’t come back

We stayed in a private room which was so modern and beautiful. Very central and you get a free massage, breakfast and dinner included in price! 100% recommend

Great location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Modern, clean rooms. Nice food. Nothing more you could ask for!

The rooms were immaculate and well designed. We went in October so wasn’t busy but I think it would be the perfect atmosphere for people who want to have a stay were they can socialise and meet other people. The property and surrounding areas like the pool etc need a bit of TLC but can’t complain for what’s offered and how amazing the room was. We got breakfast, dinner, free yoga and 1x15mins massage per person per night for free :)
My partner rated the massage as one of the best, and he is a masseur :)
El toro is great for live music, chai of the tiger does great food and has lots of board games and there is an adorable dog KiKi who stays around this area :)

The staff were very helpful and friendly.
It doesn’t look like the pictures - everything a bit worn and tired.

Great location down an alley away from any noise but close bike ride from main centre. Really nice staff and additions (free meals yoga and massages) and lots of activities to book with them. Had a private room which was really nice and separate from main hostel.
Back pool looked like it needed a good cleaning or update

The massages were really nice and the hostel was big, although sadly not well exploited despite the price
The price was high, including in theory dinner and yoga, however only offered half of the days, and using half of the installations (the worst ones in the front).
When claiming, the personnel was covering up each day and lying about next day, thus waking up again for inexistent yoga at 8am or passing by for dinner without free service.
Moreover, they directed us to stay in the front of the hostel.
There are 2 swimming pools (one newest and maintained at the back, the other one with dirty water) and 2 common areas (for breakfast, utilitarian and half empty, and the real resting area we were unable to go)

The beds were large, there were multiple pools and free breakfast which was nice but small. The free massage was also great and the lovely gave a great massage. The place is close to main places in Ubud, usually a 15-20 minute walk to places you might want to go.
The water didn’t work for a while in different areas of the hostel and it smelled very bad in the showers all the time.

Location, staff , masseuse and yoga teacher are great.
Lack of cleanliness, smell of humidity in some rooms, they don't change the water in the big drums and it's green. A girl didn't notice, drank it, and vomited. It seems that the hostel is abandoned. It's a shame because the staff is very friendly, the masseuse and yoga teacher are great, and it's well located, but the entire hostel needs a thorough cleaning and a good coat of paint.

The staff are excellent. AJ was always friendly, out talking to guests, offering advice and being a genuinely star. The receptionist was helpful; she arranged my Mount Batur walk (AJ waited with me for the 2am pick up so I was not alone) and provided very honest and helpful advice when it came to onward travel, where to go, etc. Additionally, the masseur was lovely.
The location is very central and is close to many cafes and restaurants (the free meals offered at the hostel were very good though so you may not wish to go to any), as well as being close to attractions such as the museum, monkey forest, art market, etc.
Overall, a pleasant environment to stay. I felt very comfortable and safe here.
I stayed in the dormitory which were quite old and not very well maintained. The beds were comfortable but the bed sheets had marks and stains on them.
The shared bathrooms were unclean; one of the showers’ drains was completely black with dirt and hair, and both showers had live spiders and dead moths trapped inside for the full three day stay.
After speaking to others who were in the private rooms, it sounds like the private rooms are much better cared for.

Best hostel in Indonesia, the staff was so nice, just arrived from Mt Batur they let me checked in early, dinner and breakfast were great as well, beds super comfy, the massage and yoga class is a real plus, would have love to stay longer

The solo room was incredibly comfortable, I loved the included massage and meals, and the family vibe at dinner was a wonderful way to meet fellow travellers. Being in my 40s was no issue either, get out there and see the world!
The bathroom is starting to show its age and may need work in the next few years, but otherwise it is still functional.

The staff were lovely and did a great job of including everyone. Breakfast and dinner included. Good value for money.
The bathrooms were gross 😭, they need serious upgrades but as well they weren’t cleaned, the same bugs were on the shower wall when I checked in and out. The pictures are quite misleading, the place as a whole is a lot more run down.
I also checked at reception would there be someone on in the morning when I was checking out earlier, they said yes 24hr and no one was so didn’t get key/towel deposit back.

The food was so good, they also have loads of fun activities you can do! It's a good place to meet people. It's very girl-coded, which I loved!
The beds were a bit uncomfortable, and the bathroom didn't work that well haha

Loved the social vibe, free vege dinners were delicious and breakfast too. Free 15 min massage is a lovely touch. I enjoyed the bingo night and it’s in a quiet yet central location. Staff are really friendly and air con in room is good. One of my favourite hostels on my backpacking trip.
Bathrooms and showers could be improved but overall they were clean.

The dinner nights are great for meeting people, although I was surprised they don't seat everyone at one big table, but that's okay.
I was afraid it's a party hostel, but it's definitely not, thank God! The bar and restaurant are very far away from the dorms, so it's quiet there
You get 15 min free massage per each day you're staying there. Make sure to book it quickly as the spots run out. The beds were very comfy, you have a locker under the bed for your stuff, aircon and Wi-Fi worked great.
Dorms are far away from the street surrounded by nature, which is epic.
The place is a bit run down and it definitely has seen better days, but it's not too bad, just don't expect a high end, 5* hostel and it will be great:)

I had an absolutely fantastic experience staying at this hostel in Bali! The staff were incredibly friendly, and I must give a special shout-out to Ajill, Hilda, Yudha, Anza, and all the other staff for everything! Everyone was super nice and made me feel right at home. I love you guys so much.
The hostel itself was a true gem. It has two beautiful pools that were perfect for relaxing and cooling down during the hot Bali days. And the free breakfast was so peng !!! You would love it !!!! The whole place was well-maintained, and the room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. This hostel is the ultimate choice for solo travellers! The social atmosphere is incredible and you'll make so many friends that you'll never feel alone. I love pillow inn !!!!
everything is perfect

A lovely place to stay! The staff is outstanding and will help you with mostly everything. The facilities are very clean and well-maintained and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. Beds were made every single day and toilets/showers was cleaned very frequently. I also really liked the morning yoga and complimentary massage. Breakfast was very good too! I was also pleasantly surprised that it had such a warm including environment without being a party-hostel at all. Sure you could have a beer during the many social events, but there was never any pressure - and nobody was drunk or loud. The owner was also a very friendly guy who's made some very wise choices together with his lovely team. Had a hard time to say bye and leave, and I made many new friends here. I'll be back for sure!
Slightly more expensive than other hostels, but considering what you get (breakfast, massage and yoga every morning in addition to the social events) I find it very acceptable. For somebody who kept extending on a day to day basis I couldn't help wondering if I would have gotten more massages if I made a new reservation - but I don't blame the hostel as I should have asked. The fact that larger luggage must be kept near the reception can be an annoyance - but I personally liked that people had to pack their bags outside the room. Also I found the food to be pretty basic, but really liked the breakfast.

Great Hostel. The whole place has a great vibe, looks good, us very social but there are also enough spaces to chill on your own. Almost every day they offer something like excursions, free family dinner and so on. With the super tasty breakfast and the free yoga class the price is also really good!

the common areas like the pools and restaurant/bar were so nice and super chill! the staff were really lovely also :)
the bathrooms were really bad :( only 2 showers and 2 toilets - shared between all guys and girls. the drains in the shower did not work very well and sometimes the shower itself would only dribble. toilet seats were coming loose and almost fell off every time I sat down. to make it worse, everyone in my dorm was sick - allegedly because of the aircon being dirty and turned up too high so I ended up very very sick. I wanted to like this hostel so bad but this really ruined my stay :(
