Square Studio Apartment

Excellent stay in Niš. Superb location. Open the entrance door of the building and you are right in the heart of the town. The host was super friendly and helpful. I really appreciated him meeting us in person for check-in. It made everything much easier.The apartment was clean, comfortable with everything you needed away from home. The private and free parking in the city centre was very convenient. We have chosen this stay as a stopover to break the long drive from Greece, but were nicely surprised - really enjoyed the fact that the town had night life - the restaurants and bars opened till late and the traditional bakery nearby, open 24/7. I would definitely return to Niš with the next opportunity.

Nothing. I just want to add a note: The apartment is on the fourth floor and there is no lift. There are quite a lot of stairs, so I wouldn't recommend it for people with walking difficulties. You definitely feel the stairs if you need to go up and down a few times. The building is quite old, but this was not a problem at all. I actually enjoyed the authentic atmosphere and felt it added to the experience.

Level 4, no lift...

Everything in the apartment itself was perfect . It had everything I needed. Very comfortable to stay there . Location was amazing. So central. Price was very good

The only painful fact was that it was 4th floor without elevator and each floor is 20 stairs so it was 80 floors going up each time and even for me as a fit guy it was not fun. However everything else was so perfect including the not expensive price, so I definitely recommend it With the exception of older people. My mother wouldn’t be able to do it if she was with me , for me it was perfect and good value.

The location is excellent — right in the center of Niš, which made getting around very convenient. The host was welcoming and gave us clear directions to the private parking spot. Having private parking is a real plus for travelers arriving by car.

The building is old and has no elevator, which is worth knowing in advance, though we managed fine. Inside the apartment, however, several things fell short. The bathroom had a persistent and strong unpleasant odor throughout our stay. Many elements of the apartment were visibly worn and poorly cleaned, reflecting a general lack of upkeep. The mattress was very soft and uncomfortable, and the pillows were both insufficient in number and uncomfortable. Overall, it was not a pleasant stay. We'd suggest some updates and more thorough cleaning to meaningfully improve the guest experience.
