The Coates Gardens Residence

Beautiful apartment in an excellent, quiet location. Close to public transport and amazing restaurants. Easy check in/check out process and communicative host. The living room is HUGE. We stayed during the heat wave so it got a little hot but we were able to open the living room and bathroom windows to create some airflow. Overall a wonderful, cozy spot with everything needed for a comfortable stay in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend!

Das Apartment ist wunderschön und überzeugt mit einer Ausstattung, die keine Wünsche offenlässt. In nur wenigen Minuten erreicht man den Haymarket mit hervorragender Anbindung an Bahn, Bus, Tram und den Airlink. Auch ein Spaziergang entlang der Princes Street ist sehr empfehlenswert und rundet den Aufenthalt perfekt ab.

Fantastic location, whisper quiet, spacious and comfortable overlooking a beautiful garden. Excellent transport to Airport and Royal Mile.

It was convenient to the city. The kitchen was good and well appointed. It was compfortable enough.

I asked about parking and was told that there was no designated parking but that there was parking in the street. The street parking comprised of parking on one side of the road that was for residents only. On the other side of the road the parking was limited to 4 hours between 8.30am - 6 (or was it 6.30) pm at a cost of GBP 4.95 an hour. What were we to do with 2 cars??? The pots at the front door with dead plants in them, the filthy porch and the dirty and untidy entrance hall did not give a good first impression. The TV had Foxtel but no code to get into it. We seemed unable to watch free to air TV as well. The bathroom was adequate. The mixer tap on the basin needs to be changed so that the water doesn't splash down into the cupboard underneath.
