Villa Rumah Lumbung

Excellent private villa. Perfect place to chill or come back to after a busy day exploring. Hosts very helpful and will even cook breakfast for you on the mornings. Very comfortable and relaxed.

- The size if the villa is great - the pool size is even better - peaceful and tranquil surrounds - Villa is well stocked and ticks most boxes - Daily cooked brekky (but quite basic) - plenty of restaurants, cafes and spas around

- the location from the main road and getting your luggage in and out is challenging but villa staff help you - difficult to order food delivery as location is difficult to find - the main car park is a money making racket as you pay each time you get picked up Or dropped off by taxi or park for 5 mins to load or unload your bags, ridiculous!

The property is as pictured and it was actually very beautiful. The staff was very nice and I did enjoy breakfast. The staff will come every morning of your chosen time and make you breakfast, which was nice and delicious.

I definitely did not like the area. The staff have to take you by scooter one by one to your location. If you have bags, they have to come back for your bags, which means they have to leave it and come back and bring them. I was not comfortable with that. Right outside my door of the facility it’s very dark and untidy alley which made going out very difficult because you could not see. They were plenty of scooters around so you had to make sure that you were careful when I’m walking outside the property. Also, one of my beds linens were dirty and when I called the staff which was after hours, I had to wait till the next day because they do not have staff at work past that work hours. The living area is outside, so you are subject to seeing lizards which I became used to. So you may have a lizard in your room or in your bathroom area which is partially outdoors.

The staff were very cooperative, always smiling. The owner was very accommodating to keep our bags in her shop since we wanted to spend more time in Ubud area before and after checkout.

The hygiene and cleanliness of living room and cabana need attention. They have too many stains from different guests. There was a cat in the property from neighborhood that was comfortably resting on the sofa. The place is almost a km inside the main road and poorly lit access path.
