Rumah Karda Ubud

Loved being around local people. The location gives you a slice of local living but is still close to many food places and shops. The people in the area are so lovely.

The venue is cosy and intimate. Great garden setting with a deep pool. It is perfect to feel at home and no one to disturb you. Highly recommended for those who look for an affordable yet comfortable venue near Ubud.

The property is a bit off the beaten path and you can't access directly by car. Not a big deal, but for those travelling with a lot of luggages or small kids, it could get a bit tricky to access it.

Yana and his family were so welcoming and the warmest loveliest people nothing was too much trouble for them. The villa is set about a 10 min walk from the main road in the most gorgeous rice field farming community with plenty of shops and restaurants if yoi dont feel like venturing out The private pool is amazing and well needed in the heat They come and cook breakfast for you every morning at whatever time you want Its situated about a 25 min walk from Ubud centre we did it with our baby and a pram (dont reccomened with a pram at all as the roads have no pavements and are busy) there are plenty of taxis and scooters on the main road if you need it I saw.on previous reviews people complaining about the ants and geckos, you are in the middle of rice fields what do you expect? They didn't bother us at all

It was private and quiet. We had breakfast cooked for us each day. The pool was lovely (but cold!) The bathrooms are huge and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

The villa itself was a 6-8 min walk from the main road. We did not realise it was only accessible on foot or by bike/scooter or we would not have stayed here. The rooms in the villa (apart from the bathrooms) are not connected together internally. To get to the kitchen or the other bedroom you had to go outside and walk. Was not ideal for us as a family. The path to connect the rooms has steps in it, it is not well lit at night (I almost fell over) and in the rain it’s slippery. There was no lock in the actual front door - the lock was an archaic chain and padlock that went around the door handle and you could only use it if you were out. At night it was locked from the inside only. While we had wifi, the tv did not have any internet connection to it so we could not use it for Netflix etc.
