Villa Amedee 1 Ubud

I loved the convenience of the location, the large space of the rooms and the general cleanliness.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Amedee - so good that we extended our stay. The villa was spacious and quiet. The location is excellent - a short walk to the main road making it easy to get transport. There are many excellent restaurants within walking distance. The staff are extremely accommodating. The morning clean was done at whichever time I requested which gave us lots of flexibility. When Ketut found out I was unwell he kindly organised for some fruit to be left in the fridge which was much appreciated. My kids and I all wish to stay again when in Ubud next.

There was a loud noise in one of the bedrooms that sounded like water being turned on very loudly, this would happen at intervals throughout the night and did disrupt my sister’s sleep. Luckily she had earplugs so apart from the first night it was fine

This was an amazing property! We were a little hesitant because there were not many reviews from the last year, but that must have been from either a recent rehab or possibly a long term renter? This place was perfect! What we loved best is the bedrooms AND the living room and kitchen are enclosed so you have A/C for it all. Very comfortable. Plus the large couch was so cozy and the dining room was large and spacious for all. Both bathrooms are very modern and one had the outdoor bath too. Kitchen had all facilities needed to cook and since we were there during Nyepi, we had to reheat and cook food as the island was closed for a day. The Villa also had the amazing outdoor hangout by the pool which gives you that enjoyable, being with nature feel while being completely secluded from everything. The neighborhood (street) that it’s on has many restaurants, massage parlors, scooter rentals and everything you might need. It’s about 15-20 minute walk to city centre but a quickly $1.50USD Grab Scooter ride (uber) or maybe $5 for a Grab Car. We did all of the above. Communication with all staff was outstanding, especially Ketut and his local team as well as Adel. This place was great!!
