It was very cold when we arrived and the room felt a bit damp . The stairs going up between the bedroom and bathroom was a really cold spot which hit you when opened bedroom door .

Beautiful location, wonderful staff, great food, and amazing atmosphere within walking distance to many shops.

This was a lovely place to stay! Our plans changed very last minute and the staff was super accommodating. Easy access, clear instructions for accessing the property, and an incredible location. So much history!! Located next to many shops and pubs, along with lots of doggo friends to visit with. Highly recommend this location! Highlight of our trip. To top it all off, the breakfast was the best I can remember having in years. Eggs and bacon perfectly cooked, toast, orange juice, and a latte with vegan milk. Simple but cooked perfectly.

I ended up sleeping backward on the bed because it felt like it was reclining backward. Made it work tho!

Wonderful B&B in Stowe

The location is situated in the town square which is very convenient to anywhere in the town. The staff is fantastic. They are very accommodating and friendly. They offered advice on restaurants and activities. Our room was located right next to the inner courtyard. It was very private and peaceful. The breakfast is fantastic and served in the patio. We had a full English breakfast on both days. Loved our stay here

Charming perfect stay in the hearth of Stow on the Wold

A lovely stay in this charming tearoom. The staff were so so lovely, kind and really made us feel welcome. The room extremely quiet and charming overlooking the courtyard. Thank you so much !

Everything perfect if I have to find a little fault perhaps I would install a bigger sink in the room. After all there is enough space for un upgrade.

Perfect location, friendly staff, comfy bed, delicious breakfast!

we had a lovely one night stay. The room has everything you need and a comfy bed. The location is perfect, a 2/3 minute walk from a variety of pubs and local shops like the sweet shop & fudge shop. Co-op also a 2 minute walk. Parking is great - lots of parking out the front (great for our accessibility needs), although we did go on a Thursday so may be busier on a weekend. Great breakfast :)

Loved it here! We had afternoon tea on arrival, fantastic member of staff took our bags to our room, told us the best places for dinner and drinks! The breakfast was delicious, nice and quiet room set in the prettiest court yard! Our room had everything we needed with a fab selection of tea of course!

A very quaint, cosy and welcoming place to stay.

Location central and picturesque. Dawn was so welcoming from check in and asked about our visits within the village. When we needed a taxi to our next destination she and Emily made time for us within her busy work, running her cafe, arranging it etc. Would highly recommend.

The staff at Lucy’s were of the highest quality, in terms of service, efficiency and friendliness. We felt really well looked after by the whole team. The tearoom itself was very attractive, with a large, semicircular bowed front window that made it stand out on the Market Square in Stow. Great location.

Our ground floor room smelt of damp, quite strongly. The smell emanated from the en-suite bathroom, which has a stone wall on two sides. It is a difficult problem to overcome, and although it would remove the visual interest of the stone wall, this room needs to be properly tanked by a damp proofing specialist in order to cure this problem.

an excellent find in a lovely place, clean, friendly and certainly good value.

Friendly and welcoming staff. The room was very clean and in a perfect setting and we were able to make use of the courtyard garden. There was a good choice for breakfast served in the tea room but before it was open for customers. We sat in the window seats which had a lovely outlook onto the main square of Stow. Would certainly recommend a stay here and hope to have a return visit.

Wonderful stay in the Cotswolds!

Absolutely loved our stay at Lucy’s Tea Room. Rooms were clean, and beds were comfortable. The location can’t be beat, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was fabulous as well. I have nothing negative to say about our stay and look forward to coming back another time!

Stow in the Wold Gem!

Lucy’s is in the center of town AND near the Cotswalds’ walking trail! The room was very nice and comfy! Frankie made sure we had everything we needed.

Nothing. Even though there was on-site construction during the day, it ended long before we would need quiet and had no impact on our stay!

Prime location in the square of Stow on the Wold. A true family run bed and breakfast, with English charm and friendly staff. The breakfast was hearty and generous, with the option of a continental style or full English available. Just note that parking is the general 2 hour parking available within the square, from 9am-6pm.

When Dawn was not there, we could feel her absence; no top up of tea bags, only decaffeinated; no toilet paper and the waste paper basket was not emptied. These premises are surely under-staffed.

Although owners away we were made to feel welcome by very friendly staff, home made treats also enjoyed on arrival. Advised also on a variety of dinner options, we were then able to enjoy a brief walk around the town and in fact decided to change our travel plans to visit some of the interesting independent shops and take in the amazing architecture. Our substantial breakfast well cooked so no room to enjoy a cream tea later. Also noted a lot of attention to detail to make your stay comfortable.

Unfortunately no control over the weather to enjoy the attractive courtyard in the evening or to sit outside in the morning to watch the world go by. Not helped by the dull weather but needed all lights on in the morning.

Through no fault of Lucy's Tearoom, the room I booked was in the courtyard up a very steep flight of stairs, with bathroom and bedroom directly at the top to the left and right. My Husband has Vascula Dementia and Alzheimer's, so I was awake all night each time he got out of bed in case he fell down the stairs. You have to go through the locked tea room at night, using various keys to gain access to the street outside. Being old we decided to stay in our room! Perfect place to stay had our health circumstances been different. Fantastic, welcoming staff, gorgeous food and cakes! Was our fault not theirs.

I wasn't expecting this but a bigger bed of there's room is always nice. Saying that, I found the bed really comfy. I think for the size and price, it was the perfect configuration of the room. Nice bathroom.and courtyard too.

Very nice stay in the heart of the Cotswolds

Perfect location in the centre of Stow, easily reachable from Kingham station thanks to the Pulham bus and even without a bus. The owners were very welcoming, gave us some good advice to move around the Cotswolds and even kept our luggage before and after the night.

For some reason we weren't able to open the window in our bedroom. The door could still be opened to ventilate the room but it was just a little unpractical detail.

Lucy's café is a Fantastic hidden gem run by Tasha and Frankie, We would recommend this as an ideal place to stay when visiting the Cotswolds. The staff are excellent especially Chloe who is a credit to Lucy's café , The breakfast is wonderful and is up there being one of the best we have ever had. The room was clean and had all what we needed and was also very quiet which gave us a good nights sleep. Thank you for a lovely stay we will tell all our family and friends about you.
