The location was spot on
We stayed in Mouse Cottage, all good but the walls were paper thin & we could hear the next room’s tv word for word!!!

Whilst our room was comfortable to sleep, room service was a bit hit and miss. We did ask for room service every alternate day but not all towels were changed on these days.
Loved the location.
Food was a little ordinary - nothing special and staff didn't really listen when you placed an order and some times we did not get what we ordered. Things were forgotten. Some staff spent more time on their mobile phones than making an effort to chat with the guests. I am comparing this to the previous place we stayed at in Ford.

hotel offers parking around the back for a limited number of cars as only get 2 hrs free on the square at the front , staff really friendly and a good breakfast in the morning
we had a room on the top floor the top stair way is very steep and could be tricky for the less mobile people

Excellent location, excellent food, beautiful hotel and cosy cottage room. Staff were very friendly and attentive, we would definitely stay again
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. We stayed in room 8 and it was beautiful and very cosy, however we would choose a different room next time to avoid the steep stairs leading to the room, the low beams that my husband banged his head on several times and to have a shower not just a bath.

The hotel was nice and in a good location. The breakfast was great and overall we had a very pleasant stay.
The bathroom was freezing cold since the heater didn't work. The spare (loose) heater wasn't safe to use when taking a shower and in general the bathroom stayed cold.

The hotel is in the centre of beautiful Stow on the Wold.
We arrived on NYD to be told no food would be served that day and the bar would be closed,I feel we should have been given this information before we arrived.. We went out to eat somewhere else but everywhere was fully booked.

Central location with secure parking. Clean and comfortable. Great shower pressure, sufficient warm water, good wifi, comfortable beds.
Reaching our room with our luggage was a bit challenging with the steps.

The location was excellent. The room was so clean and very cosy. The breakfast was delicious. Staff were friendly and polite.
The side door wouldn’t open for us despite trying the different codes we had found. Staff did unlock it for us but maybe that could be explained better on check in.

This was such a cute place to stay! The staff were all so friendly, breakfast was delicious, and the location was great. Would recommend!
There are quite a few sets of stairs, but the property listing does note this so we were aware prior to our stay.

Breakfast was lovely, all the staff were super friendly and couldnt do enough for you.
Because its an old place with fabulous character when you stay in the top rooms there is a piece of staircase that is extremely steep to climb especially when your older

Location and atmosphere staff were super helpful and friendly
It is an old property so inevitably some uneven floors. Swapped rooms because we added an extra night preferred our first room in the pub which was more spacious rather than the room in the outbuilding/cottage

Staff were nice and helpful, location good
Bed & mattress needs to be changed in room 11, Bed is creaking and mattress is so over used it dips in the middle

The staff were amazingly accommodating and the food was very good
The room was dated, very small, no shower only a bath, the toilet seat didn’t fit properly and kept slipping sideways, the sink was too small and too low and made it very hard to use, the bed was very uncomfortable and hard, the bathroom had a permanent smell of sewerage.

Excellent location. Good breakfast. Staff were very helpful.
Because of the age of the Inn, the room had some foibles, i.e. toilet flushing a bit challenging, etc.

We liked the location.
The staff were really great and very helpful.
The room was clean and cozy
For us personally we would have liked a better tv as ours wasn’t the best. Also maybe tv in the bedroom.
Also for me personally I would have liked some different things on the menu for both breakfast and dinner. Maybe some home made granola or oats/porridge and just maybe a couple more items on the dinner menu as we stayed in the restaurant here both nights and I couldn’t find anything toner on the 2nd.

The Kings Arm was a warm and inviting place to stay. Our room on the top floor was so charming and had a lovely view of the town centre.
We had all our meals at the pub, Dinner then breakfast and a great location to walk around the town.
Nothing to fault at this property.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The stairs to the third floor can be a challenge but that’s because the building is 500 years old. Overall a lovely pub.
The church bells start ringing at 3.00am in the morning but that is not the fault of the pub.

Breakfast was great. Similar to going to a restaurant and ordering off the menu. Added a lot of value. Plus having it in the "pub" overlooking the square made it even more enticing.
Staff couldn't be friendlier.
Room 3 was charming but the second story loft sleeping area was awkward. No room but to crawl in bed. Had a small vanity but too dark to be of much use. No room to open luggage except on the sofa. Steep stairs for the bathroom downstairs.

We stayed for 2 nights .i think this was long enough for stow . Nice buildings to see . Our hotel and was ok . Lots of steps but we knew this before arrival .
We had to drive out of stow to appreciate our trip . The towns traffic was busy . Was noisy until around 1am after the last pub closed .

Food was fine. Staff were friendly and always accommodating.
Restaurant/ breakfast room/ bar was a bit bare and not that welcoming. Could do with new more cosy furnishing. Tablecloths would be a simple touch.

A very old but beautiful building with lots of character and history. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great.
The very steep stairs to our room although we were told about them in advance, the church bells ringing every hour through the night hence the ear plugs in the room.
8.0 / 10.0
Very helpful and friendly staff. We arrive at peak time, with a family requiring Cots which had not shown in our booking but the staff were excellent at arranging and in general during our staff were friendly and helpful. Great location and everything we needed.
Shower could have been better, but this is a minor observation.
5.0 / 10.0
The bed was really Comfy and the room was very large, huge bathroom. The staff at breakfast were amazing and couldnt do enough for us. Checking in staff need a bit more training, have a smile.
It was at the top of the Building up some really wonky stairs with a hand rail on only one side. Inside the room we found earplugs in the drawers , this isnt a good sign. Looking out the windows we soon found out why, all of the fans were below us. They did go quiet at 21:30 though. We booked in and payed our money, then asked if we could book dinner and we were told no its full up, yet there are tables outside? We asked about the next night and were told that would be fine but they didnt offer to book then. The next night we asked about Dinner, we checked at 17:00, to be told they had a travelling group in at 6 and they could probably get us some food at 19:30. Poor service. We went over the road to the Talbot, which actually offered more choice and were much happier to seat us and feed us. Shame we didnt stay there. Breakfast was promising but let down on the second morning where most items had been deep fryed to death. I wouldnt say it was worth the cost and probably better to stay else where.

Great, cottage room in an excellent location. Staff were great. Breakfast was really good.
The sofa in the lounge had broken springs and the TV reception was poor.
