Super recommend!!!

I had an amazing stay at this hotel in Ubud. The facilities are great and everything feels well thought out and comfortable. The staff is truly 10/10, super kind, attentive, and always willing to help. Breakfast was super fresh and delicious, and we also had dinner at the hotel, which was absolutely 10/10. The location is perfect: just 5 minutes by motorbike from the center, and also easy to walk around if you prefer.

The pool could be a bit better cleaned, but nothing serious or that affected the overall experience.

Great location- walking distance into Ubud, some great coffee options within 5 mins on foot. Stylish property, beautiful outlook, quiet, pool receives direct sun so is nice and warm, in room breakfast great, in room massage great value!

Beautiful Villa close to the action in Ubud

The Villa was excellent, very clean and a good size with a wonderful pool. All the staff were wonderful and so very helpful. We really enjoyed our breakfast being delivered to our room every morning and it was well prepared. The Villa was away from the hustle of Ubud main street but was a short walk into town.

Liked it very much; it becomes on of our favorite place

The place is very nice, it is very good when come in Ubud to choose a place with pool. Personnel was very friendly and helpful, Supini was very kind with us. We also had a problem with “magic dust” of our daughter’s Elf on the Shelf, we lost it … and they made another one for us, we very appreciate it. ☺️ Breakfast was delicious. Near are some temples that you can visit. Next time when will be in the area, sure will come back here. Recommend this place.

Great location, awesome staff and peaceful area

Staff was very nice and helpful. Joyful every day. Great quality of breakfast, Shampoo and body wash. The rooms are very clean and the Temperature of the private pool is pleasant. Our baby enjoyed swimming too. Excellent host and great location to walk in around 5-10 minutes to town. Despite being close to the center the accommodation is very peaceful and quiet. Really a great stay, especially because the team made it unique.

friendly and helpful staff. We were given an upgrade after my friend fell on the slippery steps. Staff were wonderful at all times. Breakfasts extremely generous and delicious.

EXTREMELY slippery and dangerous external stairs to villas - my friend slipped and injured her arm. Could have been much worse. I warned the staff several times prior to the fall. The rooms all show signs of water damage and need an upgrade. However are still comfortable and very clean.

Beautiful and clean

We loved our stay at Origin Ubud. The villa felt luxurious and the staff was so kind. The breakfast options were great (I loved the vegan options)! It‘s quite close to the main street and yet quiet enough to relax. We would definitely come here again if we visit Ubud again. :)

An Absolute Gem in the Heart of Ubud! Our stay at Origin Ubud was nothing short of fantastic. The hotel's location is perfect – it's right in the center, and we could easily walk to the Ubud Market in just about 10 minutes. Our room was a true highlight. We loved having a private balcony where we enjoyed soaking up the sun during breakfast and afternoon tea – it was so peaceful. The private plunge pool with a comfortable water bed was an incredible touch and became our favorite spot to relax after a day of exploring. What truly made our stay exceptional, however, was the front desk girl - Mida. Everyone was incredibly friendly and attentive. A special mention must go to the front desk team – their attitude was excellent, and they were always ready to help with a genuine smile.

Value for money for a couple getting away for a few days in Ubud

The staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble for them. The cleanliness was of a good standard. Any issues that we encountered were dealt with in a timely and professional manner. The breakfasts were fresh and very tasty and high quality.

There was no local free to air tv, only pay tv.

For our visit the location was great and staff were fantastic and very accomodating. We had a late flight and we were fortunate to be able to have a late checkout. Its about 800m to main road and 1 km to Ubud centre, and an easy walk if you enjoy walking. The location was quiet and away from the traffic noise and hustle of the town centre. The villa was perfect for us with our own pool and very quiet and private for relaxing when you need it. Staff happy to help with anything you need and are great at communicating and responding to messages. Assisted us with finding transport with a very punctual and good driver (Nyoman) to be able to attend conference for drop off and pick up. Highly recommend this property.

Breakfast options were not good. I was specifically asked before my trip of my dietary requirements and noted that I am gluten and dairy free. The options were limited and swap outs were worse. I ate breakfast elsewhere the rest of my trip, luckily great breakfast options in Ubud!

I like the whole experience while I was at Origin. Definitely would recommend it to my friends

The location is quiet but not too far from the city center so it's easy to walk to cafes or restaurants. The room was big, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

The lighting on the way to the villas were a bit minimum so at night you need to have your phone as a flash light to help you walk the stairs.

Highlight of our holiday!

Lovely modern room, large bathroom, great outdoor and pool area. Breakfast severed in the villa was amazing. Afternoon treat and cookies of an evening were a delight.

It didn't detract from our stay but the door locks are very low ie toddler height and my 2yo was able to unlock and open the door on her own which was a concern. We ended up moving the table up against the front door of a night and wedged a stick in the doors so they couldn't slide. Some latches a bit higher up would suffice.

Great boutique hotel with a reasonable price tag in Ubud

Incredibly spacious private pool villas just a short 2-3 minute scooter ride from the main strip of Ubud. We loved the daily in-room breakfast which was plentiful and delicious. Beds are very comfortable and rooms were serviced each day. The staff are a real asset - very responsive over Whatsapp, friendly and extremely helpful. We appreciated the warm hospitality and would not hesitate to recommend based on the property’s staff, location and value for money. The villas are massive and cosy, but are starting to show their age and would be even more amazing with some TLC and touch ups. Nevertheless, a great boutique hotel that has a very reasonable price tag in Ubud - always quiet as there are only a few rooms. If sensitive to noise ask for one of the lower villas situated furthest away from the main road as it is located opposite an active temple. Don’t miss the Kecak fire dance - staff can help arrange tickets!

the breakfast was great

it looks like it hasn’t been maintained for long time.. not clean, bathroom smelled from the sewer, difficult to get water out for shower.. the view from the pool was nothing like the pictures.. no plants at all.. and they were short of staff, so only breakfast available

Great value in Ubud center!

Spacious room, great design, super friendly staffs, very close to city center, accessible car park very comfortable.

Cleanliness needs to be improved near the pool, ceiling and the cabana. Also water pressure wasn't that good, very low in the bathroom. Probably add some curtain in the cabana is it was very bright and hot to relax in it during the daylight.
