Beautiful property, well kept, clean and very picturesque. We stayed for our Christmas birthdays and the staff made it an incredible unforgettable stay. From the reception staff, to the cocktail barman, the restaurant waitresses were so attentive. We felt like celebrities. Thank you all, we will be returning.

The hotel is beautiful and in beautiful surroundings, On check in the staff showed us round the property and explained where everything was. We had drinks in Baa Baa, ate breakfast in the Ox Barn and ate dinner at the Swan. All excellent.
When we checked in we were taken to our room which was Pear Tree Cottage, it was a stunning cottage but not what we expected as we had booked a junior suite. This was lovely but a little out of the way as was out of the way and you had to cross the road to get to the accommodation. We spoke to reception and they kindly changed us to a room nearer the hotel which was much appreciated. We can't fault any other aspect of our stay.

The grounds are beautiful. Most of the staff were very friendly. Food in the restaurant was good.
We paid around £700 per night during one of the hottest weeks of the year.
For that kind rate you expect an exceptional room with AC. Our room did not have AC and was uncomfortably hot with nothing but a couple of fans blowing hot air around. All other 5 star hotels in the area at that price point have AC.
For £700 per night you also expect a room to be impeccably appointed and maintained; it should feel like you are the first to stay in it. Again here Tyme did not deliver. The bathroom was very disappointing and poorly maintained. The mattress not up to standard and the sofa uncomfortable. The staff by the pool were often rude and constantly informed us that if we left for a second then we would have to take our things with us. Despite the fact that we had a service animal with us our dog was not initially welcome at the pool or in the pool house. We could hardly leave him in our room which was 30 degrees plus. We were asked to leave the pool by 2pm on the day of check out to make way for new guests. All in all some of the staff made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. I would not recommend the property to others.
