A fairly comfortable hotel with friendly helpful staff.

Location good for my needs - easy walk to Markt Square for sightseeing & meals. A comfortable setting inside and the staff were friendly and helpful. Good guidance on how to secure parking at their sister hotel. They offered a comp for the lack of TV in the building. Clean and organized.

Due to it's location it's difficult to get there and unload the car - very narrow streets, minimal parking, construction & dodging pedestrians & bikes. Nothing they can do about it, it's the layout of Bruge. Pretty sure the website said the reserved parking was "next door" - it's not - it's next door to their sister hotel 2-3 blocks away. Room is quite small, a "bare bones" space - ok for one person.

Really beautiful neighborhood

This charming hotel is located on a lovely quiet street in Brugge, a short walk away from the sights. I loved the location, the bed was very comfortable and the hotel was really quiet and clean. Would not hesitate to stay here again if I return to Brugge.

Lovely hotel in a picturesque road alongside a pretty canal. Michael who booked us in was great fun to deal with. All the staff are very friendly. Great location.

Could have done with a warm breakfast like bacon and sausages. The breakfast is mainly cold meat and cheeses, croissants etc (buffet style) which there was an abundance of.

One of my party has accessibility issues so I always have booking.com set for accessibility, initially we booked and after booking we’re told the annex has steps so we had to pay an additional fee to be in the main building. Just to add the person in our party is in a wheelchair so steps are an issue. The room we got not only had a step to get into the room but the bathroom was split, toilet was ok but the shower and sink were inaccessible for the person in our party in a wheelchair. Just wish we’d known that or had the option of a room that was truly accessible.

Very extremely disappointed

The location was great to the city centre

The room itself was disgusting. We paid £500 great British pounds for two nights. We had mould & damp throughout the room. Wall paper falling off. A leak in the bathroom which they taped up with duck tape. Dirty toilet brush with poo on and many more things wrong with it. I’m yet to get a reply back from the hotel via email. I know they received my email because the lady at the desk downstairs told me she had received it and was forwarding it to her boss. She also took photos on her phone of all of my photos I took from the room.

We would not hesitate to come back! Bruges is lovely and the hotel was great.

The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was generous. The hotel is located in a quiet area with easy walking access to all the sights. The hotel staff provided helpful information about activities and restaurants. We appreciated being able to open windows for fresh air and there was plenty of heating if we needed it.

There was plenty of hot water and nice deep bath but if you’re a bit unsteady on your feet or infirm, you would struggle to get in and out of the shower/bath safely.

Not as good as I expected

It is in the center

This was my second stay in this hotel, the first time was in the main building and it was very good. This time the room was in the adjacent building and this wasn't so good , old carpets with stain, broken toilet paper holder, window frame with the paint off and no room number. Really disappointed compared with my first stay.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Location was great - close to the main centre but quiet surroundings. Nice feel to the hotel. Our room in the annex was spacious, clean and comfy. Bathroom was big with a deep bath and hand held shower. However, it would have been nice to have a stand up shower. The room also could do with new blinds and carpet. For the price, I would have expected at least a kettle and tea/coffee and possibly a small fridge in the room. Good continental breakfast on offer but could have done with more hot food options, choice of eggs and fresher fruit juice.

The room was so big, clean and comfortable. It also had a beautiful view to the canals. The hotel is located in a very good spot, super close to main places in the city. The breakfast was so good, with a lot of options. I totally recommend it!

AMAZING HOTEL!But what makes this hotel to receive 5 extra stars: we had a big inconvenience. We left something VERY important in the hotel safe. Not only were they super honest and returned the valuables, but the whole team was overly friendly and helpful with the situation! They even personally drove us to the train station (on a holiday, when the city was packed!) to get us to the train on time. Dear team: thank you very much for your honesty, for a wonderful stay, and for a service that is neither obvious nor standard. We will gladly come back and keep on recommending you!

When can I go again?

Great correspondence before visiting regarding booking a parking spot at their sister hotel Monsieur Ernest. The hotel is set in beautifu,l historic Bruges within walking distance of everything you might want and yet is on a lovely quiet back street. Staff at both hotels were welcoming and engaging. They spoke perfect English and offered information about the city if needed as well as giving you a map straight away. The hotel was clean, with modern decoration. Simple yet elegant. Breakfast was plentiful with a good selection of breads, fruit, muesli and granola with yoghurt, ham and cheese, coffees and teas. Housekeeping staff were polite and always prompt in the morning, our room was left perfectly ready for the following nights sleep. Small travel bottles of shampoo and body lotion provided in the bathroom. Bottled water provided in the room. Good radiator that you could easily set to your preferred temperature. Adequate clothing hanging space with shelves and a suitcase stand. Good, powerful hairdryer in the bathroom and towels for each person (3 staying). Lift to all floors. Light and airy corridors.

No tea and coffee facilities provided in the room.

Amazing hotel

I loved staying at this hotel. I was 100% satisfied with everything. My single room was good sized, the bed was comfortable, heating/tv worked perfectly. My bathroom was beautiful! Good variation of choices at breakfast too. There are quite a few hotels in the area but I would definitely recommend this one. The staff was also great :)

Great hotel for a for a mini holiday in centre of Bruges

Great location, nice rooms, very friendly staff

The beds were very uncomfortable. I felt that I came healthy and woke up with spondylitis because of the mattress bed. There was no fresh salads at breakfast like tomatos, Cucumbers nothing at all. But other than that it was Ok
