Everything about our brief stay was superb. Over the last thirty years, my line of work has meant that I've stayed in hundreds of B&B's throughout the UK - Grayling House is up among the very best of these. Rick was a perfect host: helpful, considerate and attentive without being intrusive.
Nothing!

Charming building.
Great location to get to all nearby attractions and walks

Kind welcome and homely atmosphere; generously sized rooms; pleasant outlook; real marmalade! WiFi is ok. It's pleasantly quiet in the side and back of house. And, lovely countryside on hand.
Getting out onto the A36, backwards, is not ideal as no sightlines if alone/no lookout. Backing in is feasible only if the traffic flow allows that.

Bed comfy, but the pillows let it down
No cooked breakfast, buffet style, yogurt, orange juice , small selection of cereal, toast , tea or coffee,,
The decor is a little dull,
The pillows were very soft,
No chair to sit on , only a stool that is with the dressing table, so uncomfortable as you have to sit on the bed.
No pubs around, so you have to drive to the nearest one.
Near a very noisy busy road.
