Everything was very clean and the owners were very helpful if we ever had any problems during our stay. Was delighted with the overall condition of the lodge and will certainly be considering a revisit if we ever find ourselves in the area again.
Everything was great, nothing bad to say at all.

The lodge was immaculate & very well equipped. Twin room was pretty small but still had plenty room for my daughter & mum so no problem at all! My daughter enjoyed feeding the ducks & listening for the train! Gregor & Helen were excellent at answering any questions and were contactable at any time! I Would highly recommend staying at Dunroamin lodge.
The railway line runs right behind the lodge so you do hear the trains! After we heard the first one and knew what it was you hardly noticed them!

Dunroamin is situated nicely for access to Aviemore and the wider Cairngorm area. Itvwas warm and comfortable, ideal for two mates to share as we explored the area and the mountain photographing wildlife and the landscapes
Nothing really, it suited our needs very well.

Nice and clean within walking distance of the town.
Everything was good. Cooker was a bit difficult to operate at first but then we worked out what to do.

Lovely and clean. Had everything I needed. Great location for shops . Nice and warm. Very cosy. Perfect place to stay. Would be nice to have some twinkle lights around cabin or fencing. It would have also been nice to have a Christmas tree to make it extra festive.
It was next to a railway so the trains were going past until late.

Dunroamin Lodge is well equipped, clean, and comfortable.
There are two bedrooms - a spacious double, and a tiny second bedroom containing 2 single beds. There’s not enough room for suitcases in the smaller bedroom, and I feel the room is more suitable for just 1 adult or 2 small children. All the beds were clean and comfortable, we both slept really well.
There are two bathrooms in the property: an en-suite connected to the double bedroom with a bathtub, and an additional shower room. The showers in both bathrooms were fantastic, with excellent water pressure and no fluctuations in the water temperature.
The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need if you choose to self cater. Cleaning materials were also provided.
Cable television and WiFi are also available.
Location is superb, you can easily walk to the train station and there’s a good choice of restaurants, pubs, and shops nearby.
There’s also a fab little pub on site with a pool table and reasonably priced drinks.
One minor gripe is that water leaks quite a lot from the showers and the floor ends up getting really wet, so be prepared with an extra towel to mop up afterwards.
I also found the property to be quite cold. When we arrived late in the evening there was no heating on. I messaged the owners, whom to their credit did respond quickly and told us how to work the heating. But I believe it was either on a timer or controlled remotely and we were constantly cold. In the end I put on the electric fire in the sitting room, which did an excellent job of keeping us warm.

Location very good for accessing shops, restaurants etc in Aviemore especially as most things were within walking distance.
We found it difficult to lock the door from the outside.

lovely hosts and really helpful; they went to the cabin to collect our shopping as our train was delayed by 2 hours.
they allowed us to leave at 11am which was really helpful. A check-in time before 4pm would be great, maybe 3pm?

Great kitchen/seating and lounge, and two bathrooms! Lovely wrap around porch with views. The twin beds were narrow but fine enough for size of room. It's a caravan after all. The trains roared quick and short, not intrusive and don't seem to run too late.

We had a great trip to Dunroamin Lodge. It was my two teenage kids and me, and the lodge was an ideal size. Great location for exploring Aviemore and the Cairngorms National Park. The lodge was very well presented - very clean and welcoming. The wifi was very good and we streamed Stranger Things easily in the evenings! We would definitely visit again. Thanks for a great holiday.

The lodge was spotless and very tastefully decorated. Furniture and bed was very comfortable. Had a well stocked kitchen with every utensil needed. Lodge was so cosy and had great WiFi.
It’s only a 5 minute walk from The Old Bridge Inn. And another 5 into Aviemore centre.
The owner responded quickly and went out of her way to resolve any issues. Would definitely return.
Nothing. It was excellent.

Very nice, clean and comfortable cabin, in a quiet corner of the site.
Perfect location for skiing as only 20 mins from the Cairngorm ski centre and 2 mins from Aviemore.
Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout.

Location as it was close to town centre
This was described as a lodge but it was more like a residential caravan, which took us by surprise.
2nd bedroom was very small for 2 adults.

The cabin was lovely and very comfortable
Being charged £100 for cleaning after we left. As we needed to strip the beds and empty the bins and we didn’t use any cooking facilities The cabin would only take about 1-2 hours to clean so it cost £50 per hour! Also we didn’t know the train tracks were right behind the cabin, not the end of world but it would have been nice to know before hand.

The caravan was immaculate, very well equipped. But we were expecting a Lodge not a caravan. Consequently not roomy enough for our needs. As I have mobility problems we assumed we would have the space in a Lodge. A detailed information pack would also have been useful like we have had in past premises. We could contact help as we had trouble getting the Wi-Fi working and the Tv which was good. Us oldies not very IT minded.

Dunroamin Lodge is a very clean and tastefully decorated, modern chalet. Really well-equipped kitchen and cosy living room. It's in a great location - so close to the town centre and easy access to running and cycling routes. My girls loved feeding the resident ducks.
The hosts sent very detailed messages prior to arrival so we knew exactly where to go, how to get the keys etc.
A minor thing but the boiler (next to the master bedroom) was a bit noisy in the night. We ended up turning it off overnight which helped, and although a wee bit chilly in the morning, the lodge heats up quickly as soon as it's turned back on again. So if you're a light sleeper like us then it may be worth doing that.

This is a lovely lodge, very comfortable and clean. This was our second visit and we hope to visit again. The site was quiet and we don’t mind the trains that go past during the day.
Communication was excellent and very generous supplies of tea, coffee and sugar for your first day. Excellent quality bed linen and towells. Wi fi worked well if that’s useful to you.
I can’t really think of anything!

Excellent accomodation in a brilliant location. The lodge was a just perfect. Very clean, warm and comfortable and everything from the kitchen facilities to the bedding were a high standard. The campsite was quiet and friendly with a warm and welcoming pub on site. Also a short walk into the village for exploring.
