Great place to stay when in Inverness

We enjoyed the place overall and thought it was well equipped and very spacious, ideal for small or bigger groups. Surrounding area was very quiet and peaceful

One negative would be that some of the cutlery that was in drawer wasn’t clean, for example the knives just looked like they were wiped down and not actually washed.

Perfect site with excellent hosts

The site is excellent, very well kept & managed, our hosts were very helpful and friendly and it was a pleasure to stay on this site. The lodge is clean and has everything you need for your stay. The location is perfect for exploring Inverness and the surrounding areas, close to the canal for walks.

The lodge is advertised as a 2 bedroom lodge, there are no actual separate bedrooms. The sleeping accommodation is made up of a double bed up ladders on a mezzanine floor, a double bed pulled down over the dining room table and a double bed pulled out from the settee in the lounge. It all worked for us as we were a family and did not mind all sleeping in the same space, it was quite cosy. Please check the full details of the lodge and watch the video on their website before booking to get a true feel of the sleeping accommodation.

Superb

We loved the quiet location of the lodge and the overall design. Wonderful modern interior with excellent space saving solutions. The decking was lovely for our visit as we had good weather in the evenings to sit at the bench. Our kids loved the mezzanine level for their bed. Would love to stay here again.

The only thing we would have preferred was some extra pillows for the beds.

perfect for our needs.

clean, comfortable, good location for us, comfortable beds, good shower. nice outside space, large parking area.

kitchen just needed a few essential items that were missing I assume, glass wear( a wine glass), small knifes for chopping, oven glove and a tea towel, an oven tray ( even cooking a pizza wasn’t easy without a tray, it stuck to the shelf!) we had to ask for plates as were only 3 in cupboard when we arrived ( delivered quickly)

Lovely clean glamping pods with all you could need

Kids loved sleeping on the mezzanine level. Large comfortable bed folded down over the dining table for the adults. A curtain to pull across provided privacy and darkness perfect!

Perfect Location for a great break.

Torvean Caravan Park is a small park with 10 lodges and space for campers too. The lodge we stayed in was immaculately clean and very modern! The use of space was fantastic with lots of storage and room to sleep 6 people. We chose to sleep in the loft style bunk bed for our 3 nights however both the sofa and the dining seating area can be made into beds. The location is great, only a 25 minute walk from Inverness City Centre and right on the tow path for the Caledonian Canal so perfect for walkers. There is a small take away food van just at the entrance to the park and Beefeater next door if you don't want to stray too far.

There is nothing we didn't like about our stay! The only point I'd make was there wasn't a great deal in the way of cooking utensils etc.
