A stunning stay with breathtaking views and exceptional service.

This property was amazing. Loved the outdoor area and the pool. The views were breathtaking. But the best part was the excellent communication and helpfulness from staff especially Pinh. We got a free taxi to our accommodation, had staff take all our bags up the stairs and back down again🤣. The place was gorgeous and spotless it even had menus for delivery and takeout too.

Nothing, the hill was kinda steep driving up to it but it’s all part of the experience and the drivers are so amazing and so trusting. I’d reccomend it so much. I’d come back to Thailand just to come back to the plantation

The view is absolutely phenomenal. Comfortable bed with nice soft linen. Clean room. Nice to be picked up from pier.

The location could be challenging for those less able. Having a scooter definitely helped us because otherwise the thought of walking back at anytime in the scorching sun was a no go. Large water bottles would have been appreciated. The room also had a strong smell, couldn’t tell if it was weed or drainage.

Great 3 night stay with a group of friends at this Villa!

We had a great 3 night stay with a group of friends at this Villa! It is clean and has a beautiful view! Also our host and the whole staff were very friendly and helpful! They let us check out a bit later as well as store our luggage for an extra few hours which was very nice.

We were expecting all 3 bedrooms to be in the main floor, but one bedroom was separated one floor down. It wasn’t bad, but it would have been nice to know before booking.

Amazing!

We stayed in an apartment at The Plantation Koh Tao and absolutely loved it! The first thing that stands out is the spectacular view – waking up every morning and watching the sunset from our terrace was truly unforgettable. The terrace was the perfect place to relax and soak in the scenery. The apartment itself was spacious, spotless, and very well maintained. Everything felt modern and thoughtfully designed, with comfortable beds, efficient air conditioning, and plenty of space to feel at home. The location was also ideal – tucked away in a peaceful coconut plantation, so you feel surrounded by nature, yet still just a short walk to the beach and town. It’s close enough to the buzz but far enough to enjoy privacy and quiet. Do note that it’s on a hill with some stairs, which might be a bit challenging for some, but the view makes it absolutely worth it. The staff and hosts were outstanding. Friendly, welcoming, and always quick to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality really made our stay even better. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Beautiful views, a clean and comfortable apartment, a peaceful yet central location, and wonderful staff – highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at this holiday apartment on Koh Tao! 🌴 The location is perfect — set just above Sairee Beach with an amazing view, yet still close enough to everything you need. The apartment itself was very clean, well-equipped, and had everything necessary for a comfortable stay. We especially loved how easy it was to order food delivery, so we didn’t have to walk down to the restaurants if we didn’t feel like it. There’s also a motorbike rental just around the corner, which made exploring the island super convenient.

We had an excellent 5-night stay at The Plantation in Koh Tao and couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly—meeting us at the pier and even carrying our bags up to the apartment. The view from the balcony was absolutely breathtaking. It was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. Daily cleaning was top-notch, with fresh towels provided and even dishes washed. The location is ideal: just a short 10-minute walk into Sairee, with a slight hill that’s very manageable.

Overall, we had an amazing time and would definitely recommend The Plantation to anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic, and well-run base in Koh Tao.

Peaceful away from main street very clean. Amazing view

Very clean and modern. Comfortable bed. Amazing view of coconut plantation and over the bay! Very peaceful. Owner text to check we were ok and we had their number if needed.

Wasn’t aware there’s no reception. We were met from taxi (complimentary) and bag taken to room for us. Be aware the property has many very steep steps! We are fit and it was still hard. It’s also up a rather dark lane away from main road. Only 5 mins to main rd and 5 mins down through another hotel to beach. Shower- sometimes no water, sometimes freezing and other times boiling hot. We got by but it wasn’t the best.

Lovely place but a little expensive for what you actually get.

The view over the bay. The modern room. Large room. Lots of storage space. Impeccable gardens. Excellent staff.

Too far from the centre to walk it. You definitely need a scooter. Mold in the bathroom. 20-30 minute hard walk from the centre to the apartment. Towels didn't smell fresh due to humidity. Too expensive for what they offer.

Not a negative, more of an observation for future guests. If in one of the higher buildings, the stairs can (when humid) be a challenge, so park the scooter at the top bike park, not the bottom one.

Amazing is an understatement!

What a fantastic villa! We stayed for six nights and it was a highlight of our trip to Thailand. Pick up from the pier was arranged by the owners and on arrival we had assistance with bags and check in which was quick and easy. The online photos of the villa do not do this place justice. Set in an old coconut plantation, it was clean, tidy, and modern with a million dollar view. The villa is up high overlooking Sairee Beach and west facing so we experienced beautiful sunsets each night. Villa was very private and quiet. It was centrally located - about a 10 minute walk into town - giving access to beach, shops, cafes and restaurants. Highly recommend and we would definitely stay here again if visiting Koh Tao.

Over priced and disappointing.

View from the pool

Over priced - for the price I paid I was expecting luxury - this accommodation certainly wasn’t. Very basic in terms of furnishings and equipment which were generally poor quality. Accommodation in need of an upgrade. Outdoor Cushions were dirty to the point we placed towels on them when sat outside. The place felt in need of a good thorough clean. Pool and view was nice but very disappointed with our stay.

Easy Stay, Hard to Beat

When we opened the door to the balcony, we knew we had made the right choice- sweeping ocean view through thr palm treetops, peaceful ocean breeze, privacy... The Plantation Koh Tao was within our budget and we could not have been happier with our stay. Huge genuine smile upon BOTH reception AND checkout, cozy and sparkling clean room, super convenient location. The only trouble is you won't want to leave your room, ironically it was one of the best destinations and views we found on the island without even having to explore it, through from here you certainly can!

Perfection in Sairee.

Absolutely stunning property (villa 2) with two large double beds and loads of storage - a beautiful bathroom with overhead shower and kitchen area with all facilities. Sofa area and TV inside was very comfortable. Outside the plunge pool with amazing views over Sairee Beach are breathtaking and the shaded area was so relaxing. The best property we stayed in on our trip by far. Location is excellent within walking distance of Sairee but away from the noise. It is very peaceful.

Very steep hill, but worth it for the view and we knew that before we booked. Just get a bike or taxi up from the town if you struggle with hills/steps.

Beautiful views

The view from the room was INCREDIBLE. We stayed in six properties during our visit to Thailand and the view from the plantation was spectacular. The studio itself was spacious and had very good light. The stairs that take you to the property are difficult however they definitely get better after a few days and the view makes them worth it. Bed was comfortable. Apartment was cleaned well every day. How was very nice! Would recommend the plantation in a heartbeat

A lovely tranquil hideaway from the craziness of Sairee beach. Gorgeous view and the rooms were spacious and very clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. 5 min taxi to Sairee beach or a 20min walk.

It wasn’t a problem for us, but some people might struggle with all the stairs.

Amazing views and most comfortable bed in Koh Tao

We stayed 5 days and loved it! It is set in lush gardens and everything is clean and well kept. The apartment is very stylish and spacious with a large comfortable seating area and breathtaking views. The bed is by far the most comfortable bed in Koh Tao and the aircon and fan keep the space perfectly cool. We rented a scooter but you can easily walk if you don’t want to ride the scooter. Hard to find anything wrong with this place but if I had to say one thing, the chairs on the balcony are not so comfortable. But, we didn’t really use them anyway. Stay here if you can, you will not regret it.

terrible, life-threatening, taxi driver. That man should never be interfacing with customers, notwithstanding his personal problems at home, like his divorce. He takes it out on the road and is constantly on his cell phone even when asked to put it away, constantly texting at high speeds in traffic. Totally unacceptable.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The apartment itself was beautiful with the most amazing view - in walking distance to Sairee beach, obviously there is a bit of climb back up to the property but it’s worth it for the views! We also felt very welcomed when we arrived- would definitely recommend to those who want to stay close to the main area without staying right on the beach

Beautiful Viewpoint

The view was beyond words can explain. Such a beautiful Island and a beautiful resort! The location was great, beds were super comfortable, outdoor area was lovely too with it's nook and pool. There was always excitement when coming home to this place at the end of each day. Wished we stayed an extra day!

The shower pressure is a bit low and bathroom is very humid, would be nice to be able to leave the door open or have an exhaust fan as it got quite hot and moist in there! But wasn't the worst, it was still a very lovely bathroom :)

lovely stay at the Plantation!

We loved our stay at the Plantation, it looks nice on the pictures , but it is even better in real! The view of our appartment was incredible (all trees and ocean in background). the apartment is super nice and bwell decorated, everything super clean and modern. You've got to climb some stairs to get to the appartment, but it is the price for the best view :) No breakfast there but you can easily order, or take a scooter to go to eat. (it is highly recommended to rent a scooter to go anywhere in the island).
