AMAZING. I will definitely be returning this year

Location was great. The property was unreal ! Emily who showed us around was very accommodating and told us where all the best places on the island were. The view from our balcony was stunning and we got to watch some of the best sun sets.

Everything was perfect, all the little thoughtful details really made the difference between good and great for us. Guy, his wife and their staff were lovely and accommodating. Nothin was too much trouble and we were made to feel like we were home.

A top-tier relaxing island oasis!

One of the nicest places we've ever stayed! So much attention to detail, very private, extremely comfortable and tastefully designed, and amazing communication from the owner, Guy. Such a relaxing spot to unwind for a few days. We loved our stay and hope to be back one day!

A special little place

Very private, beautifully decorated, a really unusually exquisite place. And the view….. As there is a mosquito net and there was a pleasant breeze coming from the ocean, we slept with the doors all open. Listening to the Sounds of the forrest while falling asleep was something real Special.

Nothing. However: it’s not suitable for people who find climbing some stairs difficult. ( there might be a villa without stairs- ours had some). Depending on the direction of the wind you might hear Noise from Sairee Beach through The Valley coming up. It didn’t bother us though.

Excellent secluded spot within easy reach of main town

Fantastic secluded bungalow with lovely view and plunge pool. Only 10 minutes walk from sairee town, quicker of course on a scooter that you can rent directly from owner. Feels remote but you can get anywhere in 20 minutes or so on Koh Tao. Owner covered all needs and there’s attention to detail everywhere with lovely touches. Some things you may think obvious but you don’t get these most Thai places - coffee machine, drinking water tap, outside terrace fan, free snorkelling gear, shaving mirror, first aid kit, sewing kit, stocked fridge (if you can’t make trip to 7 eleven), anti mosquito burner for terrace, ample towels, Netflix if you’re bothered about turning on the TV. Bungalow feels very large, plenty of space and massive open and light shower room. Loved it!!! We will definitely be back in future. Guy, the owner very pleasant, charming and laid back. Thai staff lovely.

We loved this private villa. The location was perfect. Facilities were great, enjoyed having our private pool. Guy was a helpful host recommending activities and restaurants

Undeniably memorable!

The villa was perfect and the scenery stunning! It was very comfortable and a perfect place to relax. Nice cooling off in the little pool and watching the sunset. Best of all, the owners are amazing and took good care of us. They loaned us snorkel equipment and guided us to a great spot. Guy also helped with new arrangements as the scheduled ferry would not have gotten us back to Koh Samui to catch our flight in time. He arranged for us to take an earlier speedboat with a smaller number of people which allowed us to return to Koh Samui in plenty of time. He also helped with providing some cash back and charging this with our other hotel expenses as we were running out of Thai baht and were worried we wouldn't have enough for a taxi and food while waiting for our flight. Lastly, the owners offered us Dramamine which saved my life on that speedboat!

The villa was amazing and every single little detail has been thought about. We did not want to leave!!! Guy and his team picked us up from our previous accommodation and even organised our ferry tickets and late check out which was great because we had more time to spend in the amazing villa before we sadly had to move :(

There is nothing to fault about the villa but there is a steep hill to get to it.

This really is THE place to stay in Koh Tao

The Place is a tranquil paradise and Guy the owner so accommodating and friendly. The hill appears steep up to the vilas but is more than doable as we walked both up and down it daily to get to Sairee and it was only a 10-15min walk. The villas are super private and peaceful too, not overlooked at all. We got the sun most of the day in the Honeymoon Villa and Guy even leaves you menus and suggestions to order food directly to the villa which we did very easily. Totally worth every penny and great location. Would highly recommend.

Nothing! There were a few 'jungle noises' in the night such as the geckos walking over the roof, if this bothers you, but we didn't mind

Paradise.

Wow! Our expectations were high, and The Place totally exceeded them. Beautiful villa with everything you might need and more. Amazing view to wake up to and watch the sunset. We loved how private it was, it truly felt like we were alone in our little villa in the jungle! But at the same time super close to everything in Koh Tao. Guy was a super helpful host and always came through with any of our requests. We could’ve stayed there forever, and will definitely be back.

Wonderful, luxury villas embedded in a wonderful nature! The Place is truly amazing! The management and staff is very helpful in organizing pick-up, scooter and everything else you need! Really private rooms. Comfortable bed, amazing bathroom, lovely view. Private pool was perfect. We will come back.

Stunning private escape in Koh Tao!

Stunning villa and views, very private and Coral was really nice and helpful during our stay. Very convenient to be able to rent a scooter directly from them.

Price was at a premium which isn’t an issue as it was a large private villa, however charging for Nespresso pods which are rather inexpensive dampened the experience a bit. Bedding and pillows could be of higher quality.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Place. The view from our villa (No. 3) was breathtaking. It made it so difficult to leave and explore the island. Coral was very helpful and made sure to explain everything to us. We have stayed at many places across Thailand and Kah Tao has been our favorite thus far, with The Place definetly playing a huge positive impact on our experience. Thank you so much and we will recco to all our friends! Looking forward to staying with you again...

Extraordinary!

The place is just as advertised: amazing!! The private pool, the view, the privacy of the villas, the equipment, the nice bathroom, the mosquito net...Also, Guy was very helpful and helped us organising the transfer and a snorkeling tour.

The villa is surrounded by beautiful nature - of course there will be ants, geckos and biiiiig spiders. No problem for us, just be aware. If you don't mind, the Place is wonderful.

Our stay at The Place was perfect, it’s great to have our own swimming pool with the most beautiful sunset view and completely isolated from the other guests. thank you to Guy and the staff for helping make our holidays even better than we expected!

No restaurant at the hotel but there are plenty of delivery options and everything around the island is easily accessible by scooter

Private villa with great view

The Place has great villas with amazing view. The owner is super helpful with any questions you might have. It is 15-20 min walk from Sairee beach, so I recommend renting scooter, although walking is still very doable. It is a very private place and you will not get disturbed at any time during the day.

Paradise nestled in the jungle

Communication with Guy was really easy, and he was extremely helpful and friendly. The villa was amazing, and the views from the pool were fab. It was extremely private and the facilities were really good! I liked how eco friendly the villa was, with recycling, and environmentally friendly toiletries etc. We were able to hire a moped directly from Guy, which was really useful and meant we could explore straight away! The prosecco was a nice touch, as well as the 'just married' sign on our door for our honeymoon.

Unfortunately, due to heavy rains, part of the structure of the villa had slightly eroded on the honeymoon villa which meant it was unsafe to stay in. However, Guy communicated this with us and offered us an alternative which was equally fantastic, so it wasn't too much of a detriment to our trip. I wish we had stayed longer! 😣
