Handy traditional hotel in Bingen

Nice location especially if you like trains! Clean and much as expected of a hotel such as this. Breakfast was good. No lift but no problem for us. Easy and interesting check in

Friendly staff with a great breakfast - bike friendly.

Great staff member upon check in who was very friendly and knowledgeable. She also advised where we could leave luggage as we arrived very early and the reception is shut between 12-3. Great storage for bike and yummmy breakfast. Room was good enough for the night as we were just passing through. Central location - close to the underpass as well.

If staying longer i would recommend upgrading to a bigger room.

An excellent, comfortable and homely stay.

Hotel Krone brings authentic traditional charm. It is an old traditional building and is a welcome change from the usual hotel chains which I normally stay in. Breakfast was a delight - a lovely range of great foods with perfectly prepared boiled eggs (I am a bit fussy about boiled eggs and theirs are perfect). The Owner / Manager of the property works really hard and is always ready to help however she can - I and a colleague had planned to arrive really late and she said that we could wake her up if we had any problems getting into the hotel. Out-of-hours CheckIn is via an electronic key system and it works perfectly. I will be back.

Good base when visiting Bingen and Rudesheim

Booked on the same day, hostess very friendly and good humored. We had a room in the attic with a lovely view over the Rhine. The breakfast was also nice, with also a lovely view over the Rhine river. It's mid summer and there are bear gardens and good restaurants on the promenade with a relaxing atmosphere by the river. A short 10'ish minutes walk brings you to the little car ferry to Rudesheim.The Krone hotel is a great base when visiting Rudesheim.

Considering the location and the very good value I would not complain about anything.

Location for visiting Bingen.

Bathroom stank badly. Noisy and very hot room; train line passes in front of hotel so must keep window closed. No air conditioning so very hot in the Summer, very uncomfortable sleeping. No lift, although friendly staff helped me with my suitcase. Wifi connection did not work.

Hotel near the Rhine river

Good breakfast. friendly staff. esay to park, street parking at just front of the hotel. it was safe and cheap (4 euro per one day) Information center was within 10 m. rhein river cruise station is within walking distance of 10 min.

Very narrow toilet. The hotel is located just beside the rail road. So, a little bit noisy during the night.

Pretty handy spot for bike travellers

We had a large room, at the top of the building, the windows were brilliant and could be wide open or closed with shutters. They did a nice job of renovations. Breakfast was lovely. Bikes safe in a dedicated lockup (we don't have ebikes but if you do, there are chargers in there).

Not a fan of the bathroom door. Obviously you can hear trains, it wasn't a drama.

Superb

Lovely hotel near the centre of Bingen. Both rail stations are walking distance and the river is a short walk away. Breakfast was very nice and tasty. Bed was comfy and shower very powerful. Will most definitely stay again.

The room I stayed in had some stairs within the room behind the door, which made it a little difficult to shut and lock the door but it wasn't a major issue.
