Perfect, comfortable stay for a couple in a great location and a fantastic host

Amazing place to stay. Comfortable, warm, in a great location and with a fantastic host. We only stayed for one night but I’m confident it would’ve been perfect for a longer stay. Close to a minimart and many of the city’s sights. Host was responsive and friendly and made us feel welcome. Shower and wifi were amazing too!

A wonderful experience! A+

My family of three enjoyed a two-night stay here. The room was comfortable and clean, and we were pleasantly surprised to see some christmas decorations added (we visited in December), which was a welcomed touch this time of year! The view of Tsaverets fortress out of our window was magical. The town itself, Veliko Tarnovo, is worth at least two or three days. It is a must include stop in your Bulgaria itinerary! We will remember our time there forever. Parking was easily found for our rental vehicle and for the duration of our stay we did not use it. Everywhere is within walking distance. The host was always available to answer messages and was very helpful. We would happily return to this guesthouse again. Highly recommended!

Great place with amazing views of Tarnovo

Amazing location, right in the middle of the old town (Samovodska charshia) with wonderful views of both historic fortresses of Tarnovo. The hosts were very attentive and welcoming. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfy, much appreciated! As a bonus, there was a great DK guidebook on Bulgaria to browse. Highly recommended!

A vacation in a fairy tale

The hospitality of the hosts was exceptional. Warm and welcoming people who made me feel at home. The guesthouse is perfectly located, with a beautiful view of the fortress. In the evening, seeing the illuminated fortress, felt like being in a fairy tale, and the mornings with coffee in front of this view were unforgettable. The location is close to all the main tourist attractions, the apartment I stayed in was clean and comfortable, and the hosts communicate well in both English and German. I perceived them not just as hosts, but as friends. This is definitely my home in Veliko Tarnovo, and I can’t wait to return!

Modern room with pretty view

We loved everything. The room is large enough for 2 people. It was exceptionally clean, the hosts waited for us to help with the parking and to hand the keys. They were very friendly and great people. Every little corner was spotless, the bed is comfortable, the lights are a great touch for mood ambiance and the details of the decorations are chosen with such great taste. The bathroom was big enough for us and we had a nice view over the fortress so we got to see the Lights Show at 10pm. The price was also very fair. Thank you, Mira! 10/10 ⭐️

A closet would have been useful for the clothes (if there is enough space to place it in the room) but we got no issues with the lack of if whatsoever.

The room is just like a very nice hotel room. Everything was perfect. The view is amazing of the old fort, probably the best view you can get. The parking is a bit difficult but Ed let them know when we arrived and the owners son was very helpful making a space for us. The location is also perfect on the old town close to everything.

Pretty good position, in the old part of the city. Very nice room, very clean and a great view towards the Tsarevets fortress. About 8-10 min walk to the main restaurants and fortress. Parking lot in front of the property.

Great value for the money

The location is right in the city center, easily accessible especially if you arrive from north. Very close to all the attractions and restaurants. It was exceptionally tidy and clean. Amazing views of the fortress. The complimentary coffee and tea are very big help to have a great start for the day. The junior suite is bigger and nicer than the photos. Miroslava is a super host, she will help you find a parking place (there are some options around the house, all safe and accessible with any kind of car with some more attention).

The location is superb, view from the window direct to the fortress, very very nice for a family with 2 children, really close to the pedestrian street.

The TV had porn channels, and we were with 2 kids, so not nice to have them open on a family room.

Lovely and quiet accommodation with a great view, very comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchenette with complementary coffee and tea, hot running water in the shower and good wi-fi connection. Our friendly and punctual host quickly helped us find a parking spot. We will definitely return.
