Cute little apartment

Superb location. Close to many restaurants and shops and castle to explore and hiking trail. Clean amenities and has cute little balcony for a view.

Room is quiet small. Good for couple with just a carry on luggage each but becomes very crowded if you have check in luggages each as well.

Gorgeous location in Portovenere

The location of Torre a Mare was perfect for venturing into Cinque Terre. A little removed from La Spezia bit there was plenty to do on our days in Portovenere and an easy taxi ride into La Spezia! Martina was a wonderful and attentive breakfast host, and the view from our room to the harbour was magnificent.

The rooms were quite small but the beds were very comfortable. There are three flights of stairs if you are on the first level, no lift, so be mindful with large suitcases.

A lovely place to stay in a beautiful and historic location, a ferry ride from the Cinque Terre.

Breakfast on the balcony overlooking the harbour, with fresh flowers on the tables. Comfy bed and bedding. Kind and helpful staff. Porto Venere is a charming place and you are right in the heart of the old village.

Air conditioning unit didn’t work when we arrived, but was quickly fixed.

The shower was in our bedroom and it had no wardrobe in bedroom . We paid for a luxury room and expected an en-suite bathroom .

Porto Venere is delightful - a wonderful base from which to explore the Cinque Terre

Great welcome and stunning location. Lots of lovely restaurants to choose from and very easy to travel from Porto Venere to explore the rest of the Cinque Terre. We loved coming back to PV in the evenings - lots to explore in the town itself and so much nicer than the hustle of the other Cinque Terre villages. The Torre is right in the centre and very picturesque. Breakfast on the small terrace was nice with fresh orange juice and delicious pastries from the owners bakery.

The walls between the rooms were thin and we were woken every morning at 7:30am by people preparing breakfast - emptying dishwashers, plates clashing etc. We are late birds and usually don't get up until around 9:00am on holiday. Also, mattress rather hard and lumpy and pillows very 'big' and not very soft - did not sleep well any of the nights we were there

Fantastic, very clean and great quality of furnishings and bedding. One very very small criticism, more hooks in the bathroom. The breakfast, the location, and the staff are all wonderful.

All good, car parking is difficult if you have a big vehicle. The concession in the public car park is reasonable, but it is very tight for turning.

Amazing Location right next to the sea and the building is really unique ❤️ Great breakfast on the balcony, with some fine food & good coffee. Staff is really nice, even when arriving late.

Price is already pretty steep and then we were charged 38 Euros for parking (as suggested at the (tiny) Grand Hotel garage) for not even 1 full day (parking from 20:00 -> 11:00 next day)... maybe the hotel could offer a better deal for guests.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The location is absolutely fenomenal. Interesting design of the shower room within the room. Toilet separately, which is really a good idea.

Unfortunately, there is no lift, especially if you have heavy bags. However, the gentleman helped with that. The rooms are small sized due to the type of old tower building. There is no room to open a big suitcase and hang your clothes, especially if 2 guests occupy the room.

Fantastic location! The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. The room overlooks the harbor and they have a private rooftop balcony. excellent breakfast. Parking is just up the street. only thing, no elevator so just beware but it is definitely worth it.

What a gem of a place. Great location and near to all amenities. Breakfast on the balcony was superb and the food was great. the two owners is friendly and helpful with suggestions regarding places to visit and restaurants. The stairs is a challenge when you arrive. the best kept secret in Portovenere.

Downtown gem - quiet, clean and well-designed

Staying in an ancient building right in the middle of the buzzing part of Porto Venere. BUT super (!) quiet (!) thanks to excellent windows which keep all noise outside - even when there is a special event happening and people from afar come to party in town. Congrats to the architect and the designer who renovated this ancient building to this standard, excellent job! On top - the Air Con worked effectively and also silent throughout the night. In the beginning, I had doubts if the mattress was going to be comfortable and firm enough for me, but two nights of sleeping very well proved me wrong. Agnese was super nice and helpful when I asked about local specialties and responded super quickly. Breakfast was a very fair deal for additional 10,-€ per person/morning with Croissant, bread, jam/Nutella, fruit salad, yoghurt, juices and excellent coffee - even available with soy milk. I especially appreciated the clean/sleek design of the entire place. Reminded me a lot of Scandinavian design in its best sense. For me, the simple but clean and modern design does it - and this is exactly what I got here. All in all, I can say we were very lucky to find this place spontaneously during high-season and find 200,-€/night a very fair price given the overall price range in the area during high season. Grazie mille for a lovely 2-day-stay in Porto Venere. We are happy to recommend you to friends&family.

Not a dislike, only the imagination that the shower of room 5 could need a fresh set of paint in winter when the season is over.
