A spacious apartment with excellent location.

The shower has no door so the floor gets wet easily.

Charming, clean, comfortable and very well located.

Nicely equipped, well located and supported by a friendly and responsive host. The apartment is close to good transportation, restaurants and interesting shopping. It is comfortable and spacious with a few quirks so it doesn’t feel dull. Great heating during winter.

Loud at night. The bedroom with single beds faces the street and on a Friday night it was loud until late. It is understandable, there are bars and restaurants around the area so you will need to accept that. But if you are a light sleeper, take the bedroom away from the street.

Great “home base” to discover all of Lyon!

Location was absolutely the best! The flat feels nice and cosy while you are in the middle of a trendy, lively area with all commodities just across the street. All sightseeing is within walking distance! Evelyne gave us a warm welcome and was very responsive and helpful. Very nice also to have the “basic” things like toilet paper, tea, salt and pepper… when you arrive in the flat.

The room by the street is not so quiet: you need to accept the “city sounds “. The small room in the back on the other hand, is very quiet.

Charming accommodation- highly recommended

Definitely an older style apartment but that was exactly what we loved about it. So charming with shutters and original floorboards. Truely felt like a special experience to stay somewhere so historical. Has everything you could want for a stay. Clean and well thought out spaces. The host was absolutely lovely, very responsive and took the time to personally welcome us.

Beautiful residence and covenient location!

We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful apartment—it added so much to our experience in Lyon. We absolutely loved the spacious layout, the elegant and thoughtful design, and the unbeatable location right in the heart of the city. The apartment was impeccably clean and equipped with a fully stocked kitchen, making it feel like a home away from home. The convenience was outstanding: a bus stop and two supermarkets are just around the corner, while a fantastic bakery—offering what might be the best flan in the city—is right across the street. Excellent restaurants are just next door, and a scenic bridge leading to Old Lyon is only a two-minute walk away. The nearby museum is also within easy walking distance, making it effortless to explore the cultural heart of the city. Evelyn is an exceptional host—warm, welcoming, and full of thoughtful, insider tips that made our visit all the more memorable. We feel truly fortunate to have experienced the authentic charm of historical Lyonnaise living. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Lyon, especially families—it’s the perfect base for a rich and comfortable stay.

Luxurious apartment in the heart of Lyon

The apartment was centrally located which made it so easy to get to all the main sights. There was also a massive supermarket on the same street and super close by. The whole apartment was very spacious, with every room also having a door that closed for privacy, and it felt like such a luxury to have 2 toilets. We made good use of the kitchen and laundry so it feels like it was money well spent. The host was also lovely and very quick to respond to questions.

There is no shower curtain or door in the bathroom so the entire bathroom gets wet every time the shower is used which was annoying. Wifi was extremely slow and patchy. We were also requested to take out the trash, strip the beds, gather towels etc which I thought could have been done by a professional cleaner instead of the guest.

Everything! Perfect location and what a great appartement for a family stay. A gem right in the middle of everything! Felt totally at home from home! Cooking, washing, attention to details made my stay so enjoyable .Everything is provided in the kitchen so as a mum I didn’t stress at all! Could not found any flaws after a week. I highly recommend this place to everyone who wants to stay in Lyon centre and have a great time in this beautiful city. High-end Shops,Restaurants,Bars, Supermarkets at your front door. Delightful, stylish, spacious apartment in a great location. Everything about it - furnishings, equipment, facilities - had been carefully and sensibly planned. Good local shops - boulangerie, supermarket, even a quincaillerie, all with friendly, helpful staff. Evelyne is a welcoming and helpful host who has created a superb apartment. It will be first on our list mext time we visit Lyon.

Fantastic

Such a beautiful, clean, modern and well appointed apartment in an ideal part of town. Location could not be beat - great area with the bakery and my favorite shop (Invitee) directly across the street, AND the apartment was still quiet when we went to sleep. Our host Evelyne could not have been nicer. we appreciated all the thoughtful touches she added to the apartment. No question, we would absolutely want to return to Lyon and stay in this apartment again!!! Thank you Evelyne!!!

A fabulous stay, great property, superb location. I will return.

I was working for a couple of days in Lyon and was then joined by my family for a short break. I was able to use the office in the property for work & it provided a comfortable retreat for the family at other times. The property is very comfortable, very pleasant and suited our needs perfectly. It was a great stay & I thoroughly recommend it especially for sightseeing trips to the city. The host met me at the property and was both very pleasant and able to provide some useful information. I am no stranger to Lyon so the latter was welcome, but not necessary (for me personally). The property is very easy to find & a short walk from Hotel de Ville Louis Pradel metro station - from the airport, it's simply Rhone Express to Vaulx-en-Velin La Sois the Metro to Hotel de Ville Louis Pradel then a short walk to the property. The property enabled me & my family to live comfortably for the duration of the stay, with all amenities one would expect from a city apartment. The property is in an excellent location! It is very central, very close to the old town & the areas of Bellecour, with excellent access to public transport (Hotel de Ville Louis Pradel metro)... also close to the musem of fine arts. There is plenty to do, see & eat in the area - a fabulous bulangerie directly opposite the property, restaurants & bas up and down the street with some shopping too.... but no noise, not even at the weekend. I was very happy to stay here and will return.

Very centrally located. Easy access to many sights by foot. Lots of restaurants, groceries, little food outlets nearby. Apartment is fully equiped and clean. Evelyn is a gracious and friendly host. We had a very enjoyable time in Lyon and will definitely be back again. Highly recommended to everyone visiting Lyon.

tutto molto bene, ci tornerei

L'appartamento è molto grande, con grande sala per pranzare/fare colazione. E' al primo piano (solo una rampa di scale) in una via piccolina che sfocia nella Place des Terreaux. Il principali punti turistici possono essere raggiunti a piedi. Durante il festival delle luci, la via dell'appartamento diventa una via d'uscita/d'entrata dalla piazza questo potrebbe rendere un po' difficoltoso (nel senso di maggior tempo) il rientro a casa. Abbiamo visto che gli ospiti degli alberghi avevano un pass per evitare le code ma per gli ospiti delle case in affitto probabilmente non è disponibile, non so. A parte questo l'appartamento è molto confortevole, posto in una ottima zona con tanti locali e ristoranti tipici e supermercati (con banchi per acquistare gli ottimi formaggi francesi). La nostra ospite è stata molto gentile e ci ha consigliato diversi posti dove mangiare.
