We loved the apartment and the location, once we figured out how to get in!

The location was wonderful, and Lyon generally was really amazing. We definitely intend to return.

Finding the keys in the dark when we arrived was very stressful. We couldn't open the main door so we had to ask in the restaurant next door, however the staff there were far from helpful.

Very enjoyable stay in Lyon in a great location

Location was excellent, there was a very comfortable bed and the property was exactly as described - no surprises. Hosts were responsive to any questions and helpful with recommendations.

The shower temperature could be a challenge to control, and the apartment was quite warm ( in August). A fan was provided to help with this

We loved this apartment and highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Nice.

Location was excellent-close to the tram stop and across the Promenade d'Anglaise from the public beach. It is too far to walk to/from the train station and Old Town, so just become familiar with the tram stops and invest in a tram pass. AC was great and the beds were very comfortable. View is delightful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We used the microwave, oven fridge/freezer, TV with no issues. We were so comfortable!

To be clear-there was nothing about the stay we did not like. We LOVED everything about this apartment. This is just a FYI for the very nice property owner. The fridge/freezer seemed to have a condensation issue along the back wall, but it did not impact keeping items cold at all. It did not impact our stay or what we stored in the fridge.

Nothing really, shower went a bit everywhere in the bathroom but that was very minor in the grand scheme of things. Could have done with more than one towel each as well.

In the restaurant hub of Lyon.

The location couldn't be better, so central to many eateries and a real street vibe we enjoyed. The space was spacious enough for our large suitcases and easily accessible. There was a large bed that was comfortable, a kitchette and bathroom all quite good.

Unfortunately, on our arrival, we were greeted by a cockroach in the kitchenette, we dealt with that and moved on. We did find the room to really lack natural light due to the internal courtyard, so this didn't make the space welcoming to relax in during the day. The photos in the listing, don't depict how dark the room is in reality. Although there wasn't street noise, we could easily hear the neighbours talking through the wall, but this ceased by 10pm. If noise sensitive, the small extraction fan in the bathroom does run non stop, although not too loud, could be annoying for some. We did make the mistake of leaving some food on the bench one night, which unfortunately attracted a mouse, but did also notice it also accessed the garbage bin.

Lovely apartment in a great location.

Location of the apartment is fantastic and close to so many things, especially restaurants and market. The view from the large windows over the restaurants is great and better when the windows are open. The apartment is large and has everything you need.

The loft area has a very low ceiling and it would be better if there was a hand rail for the ladder going up to the loft.

Great location, beautiful apartment, better communication required

The property is an excellent location in the middle of cafe, restaurants, easy walk to river. It is a beautiful apartment with great bed & bathroom.

Upstairs bedroom is via a ladder, no hand rail, upstairs has a low roof so difficult to stand in bedroom. When we arrived we were unable to access property as they had not given us codes, it took several hours for the owners to communicate with us. It was very disappointing to spend 3 hours waiting outside property after a long trip from Australia.

Beautiful loft space. Great location on a street of bars and restaurants but not noisy once windows shut. Great amenities. Helpful host.

Shower head needs cleaning to work better. I knew the mezzanine bed would be a low ceiling so this isn't a complaint but it is awkward.

We had a fabulous time exploring the old town of Lyon.

Thee location was very central and close to the fresh produce market on the riverside.

The downstairs area was quite unloved and could be very nice with some greenery. The furniture in the apartment was not sturdy, in fact, one of the stools was broken. There was also a lot of light switches which didn’t work. It would be great if the apartment had a fan, as we personally found the apartment very hot.

Needs to be taken with a pinch of salt

Perfect if you're visiting Lyon for the food, excellent location with loads of great restaurants on your doorstep. Apartment was a decent size and the bed comfortable. Good on a budget. We had some trouble getting in, but the host was communicative and helped us find the key. There was even a local brioche waiting for us inside.

We stayed in the smaller of the two apartments (the one without a mezzanine) and it was clear the dividing wall was very thin. We could hear everything happening next door, and there was a very strong smell of cigarette smoke. It's unfortunate, but you need to be lucky with your neighbours. It was also very hot in the room, which was ironic as there was rarely any hot water. Some of the electrics were quirky as well. You had to stroke the kitchen light switch in just the right way to turn it on, and the switch for the bathroom light was by the front door.

Check in was very smooth and factor very helpful and quick to respond. Kind and accommodating regarding suitcases being left to be picked up after check out time. . The location was excellent. The accommodation was very quiet, despite being so central and very close to an excellent choice of restaurants. The bed was spacious and comfortable.

Breakfast table a bit high..... and we are both tall. Light over sink didn't work. Mouse in the kitchen- spotted on last evening. However swift response and promise by factor that this would be dealt with after we left.

Excellent location in the heart of the restaurant district

Amazing location. The front door into the apartments was right next to one of the beautiful restaurants that are abundant in the street. Really quaint old building (a converted convent) with original stone walls and stairs in the entry. Well appointed kitchen (but who's going to cook when there are hundreds of restaurants and cafes with 5 mins walk)

It was unfortunate that our visit happened during a heatwave. There is no air conditioning, but we could leave the windows open into an internal courtyard so there were not noise or privacy issues. There was a quality fan provided, but an evaporative cooler or similar would be a welcome addition to the apartment

There is 2 different apartments advertised on the same listing. I thought that I had rented an apartment with chandelier, Mezzanine with bed, large windows... but when we arrived it was the much smaller red room that we had allocated to us. It was still nice, just not what I thought i had paid for.

Nice apartment. Happy to haven gotten the one at the inner courtyard. The street side must have had an awful lot of street noise. Prices were still low, but wouldn’t take it for over 130 a night

Place within Lyon is good

the red Room is a separate item and is very different from the spacious front room. air ventilation is via window to the public staircase. noise and light do disturb during the night. in the basement of the staircase is the location for all the houses garbage bins. it is smelling awfully. there is no.sunlight at no time via the narrow trench of the stairs. the fully barred window is less than one meter away from the public stairs - noisy. in case of fire you are trapped - this is fundamentally unsave. be careful. it is nowhere clearly described that the red and brown Appartments are two different rooms. but the advertisement is ambiguous and misleading. watch out. the apartment was dirty. the host was unfriendly upon complaints and insulting personally. fully unacceptable. be careful and watch out this backyard cave is not to be recommended even if the house is located in a nice area of Lyon.

Amazing location for a comfortable apartment

The appartment is located in the city center of Lyon, in an historical bulding. The room is comfortable and it has everything you need for the short stay in Lyon. The host is kind and getting the key was easy (she was waiting for us). Restaurants, bars and shops are really close by. Given the orientation of the appartment, noise was not a problem.

the shower does not have protection, so there is the risk of having water everywhere. the pipes smell: it might be a problem of the building, yet to be flagged (or just use the commercially available products :)

Amazing apartment in an amazing city

The property is lovely, decorated amazingly and the location was perfect for us. We loved the apartment almost as much as we loved Lyon!

Our only comment would be to note that the wooden beams on the mezzanine are quite low so even I, at 5ft2, had to duck under. We didn't mind this but it might matter to others.

Terribile

Nous n’avons pas pu entrer dans l’appartement car la clé n’était pas dans la boîte comme d’après instructions. Malgré plusieurs appels et messages l’hôte n’a pas répondu. Nous avons dû chercher un autre logement ce que nous avons pu avoir à 2 h du matin. Le lendemain l’hôte est revenu vers nous en offrant le remboursement de la nuit d’hôtel. Ce remboursement n’a jamais été fait. Je déconseille vivement cette structure au delà de l’emplacement qui peut sembler idéale si on se fait au bruit des plusieurs locales situés immédiatement en bas de l’appartement ce qui continue jusqu’à au milieu de la nuit. Le lavabo en plus était complètement bloqué et on a dû se laver dans l’évier de la cuisine. J’espère que booking com puisse aigri pour rendre au moins le minimum des services garantis par ses structures c’est à dire acces!!! Et utilisation des structures de bases comme un lavabo
