We had a wonderful stay at this charming and comfortable accommodation. The host provided outstanding service and made us feel very welcome from the very beginning. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxing, making it the perfect place..breakfast was the best amazing- without the best one on the island!

The only small downside is that in the evenings it’s difficult to sit outside because of the midges – but with good protection it’s not a problem.

Exceptional, friendly hospitality. Lovely to have a sitting room in addition to bedroom & ensuite with own entrance. Breakfast was generous, freshly cooked and tasty. The whole property was spotlessly clean. Great location as a base to explore Skye.

Excellent would stay again!

Very clean, large space, the shower was very comfortable, breakfast was very nice. Easily accessible (no single lane drives 😆) , close to Dunvegan. Has a mini fridge in case you want to chill drinks.

A stunning couple of days of peace and quiet in one of the most beautiful places you are likely to find.

What was not to like about Dunshee. The property itself is is to access from the main road, some 100 odd metres down a lane. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the upstairs apartment that we had was spacious, immaculately presented and had everything we needed. Sue was a most gracious host and her breakfasts were superb. She went the extra mile by leaving pieces of freshly baked cake for us to enjoy after a day out and about. She is an amazing lady and has a number of talents that we touched on briefly.

The apartment was very clean and Cosy. it has a little kitchen whitch was unfortunately not good equipped. but unless, it was a very nice stay with a lovely host. Sue is a very nice person, has good advices and she even washed our laundry.

Visit to Isle of Skye

Everything, location, 20 miles from Portree, beaches nearby, restaurants nearby but book in advance. Dunshee was amazing, our accommodation was outstanding, loads of room in the living space which had the kitchen off the side. Bedroom was a nice size with loads of hanging space, and bathroom was a nice size. Breakfast was brought out to you by Sue at the time you requested and laid out on the table, continental breakfast was perfect for our needs. We spent two nights here, and would highly recommend and when we next visit this would be our choice.

A perfect stay on Skye

This was our favorite accommodation of our entire stay in Scotland. Our host was very warm and accommodating, and the attic rooms were spacious and comfortable. Also, the breakfasts were some of the best we had. Just a few words of advice for Skye: Try to book your dinners in advance, as there aren't many restaurant options in the area and many close on Sundays/Mondays. Also, make sure you have plenty of gas before you drive to that side of the island, as the local gas station sometimes runs out.

If you read the reviews for Dunshee, you’ll know to expect comfortable lodgings with warm hospitality. That is exactly our experience. The room was cozy, and the bathroom had all the modern amenities. The breakfast was fantastic! Whatever magic that they do with porridge is simply divine. We hiked every day, and per our request, Sue packed us sandwiches—which included a savory chutney made from tomatoes from her garden. Yum!

We loved our 2 day stay and a great place to settle down at night after sightseeing

The location was perfect, the little mini suite was just perfect too, comfortable bed & wonderful shower. Sue was very helpful in booking an evening meal at a local restaurant which was beautiful. The breakfast each day was fantastic. Would highly recommend Dunshee & the porridge !!

The apartment was lovely and Sue was brilliant letting us know all the best places to visit. Such a bonus that she includes breakfast even though its self catering as it really sets you up for the day, like all other guests you must have the porridge as it’s amazing.
