Too damp for comfort.

Easy to access and convenient just off highway 1. Quiet. No staff on site but were responsive to emails.

So damp and musty we left after one night. Bathroom and kitchen tatty with old fixtures. Not very clean.

Like going home to Nans

While driving through the storm we realised how unsafe it would be to drive and called as we were approaching Wellsford, Such lovely and hospitable managers! We truly appreciate you and the extra care provided at such short notice. Thank you so much!

Disappointing Stay

Room was not totally clean. We had to wash utensils before use and the portable hob was filthy with food and grease. A cereal bowl had a hair in it. Bed mattress was way too soft so uncomfortable but this is personal preference some people probably like it soft. No staff at motel. Self check in worked very well once we figured out which was ours.

Poor sleep - moldy smell, puddle of water on the floor in kitchen when we arrived. No kitchen lighting.

Fantastic, didn't expect much from Wellsford but this accommodation exceeded expectations 100%

The unit was verry comfortable, Colleen went over and above for our needs with an early check in and late check out which we really appreciated; the little garden was a joy to relax in. Thank you Colleen for your hospitality.

This was a quick, no fuss overnight stay for business.

I had a little trouble accessing one of two rooms as I was unaware that the codes were the same and hadn’t received notification of the second room number. This was quickly and pleasantly remedied by phone.

Motel was nice and facilities in the Town of Wellsford were within walking distance

We were travelling further North and it was an excellent stop over point, facilities were good

Booking in to the Motel in the first place could have been easier, had an issue with two pin numbers, one from Booking.com and then another from Sun Valley. Good thing an employee was on site to make a phone call and correct the situation.

Exceptional

Clean, comfortable and close to the township. This is my second visit.Rob was friendly, and showed me how the tv remotes worked. I like how you get a jug of milk, so can enjoy a nice cuppa as soon as you arrive.

No sofa to sit on, for watching tv. But it was a double/studio so no room for one. Otherwise, all good.

Friendly Staff. (Helen) Clean. They gave a jug of milk, and it lasted the two days we stayed. Close to the shops. Waipu and Warkworth close enough to do a day trip. Comfortable. Easy Parking. I would return again. Excellent blackout drapes in the bedroom.

Was hard to see the driveway to the motel but once you knew where it was, easy to find.

A really nice place. Would stay there again if visiting Wellsford.

Nicely furnished, well equiped kitchen, clean. The bed was comfortable. Nice sunny outdoor area. A good restaurant very close. A quiet location off the main street with plenty of space for parking.

No outside lighting. It was very dark in outside the room and in the parking area and driveway, made worse by the nearby streetlights not working.
