Booked at short notice, didn't arrive until after 9pm. Owner was very accommodating

1. We didn't request a quiet location, only space for our vehicle and trailer. 2. We didn't have the Motel's breakfast, so can't rate that

Sufficient for a short stay.

Room was made wheelchair accessible with a ramp. Toilet is spacious. Sink was hard to access, but all in all room was good given it wasn't the designated wheelchair accessible room.

Loved the space, shower and cleanliness of the room. Staff were absolutely lovely and welcoming. Bed was very comfortable and the ceiling fan & heat pump were a great bonus to have. The bed was super comfortable and the sheets were clean. Great parking too.

Convenient location on State Highway #1. Comfy bed and well equipped rooms.

Really comfy big double bed. Seeing the sheep and duck in the fields really close by. Friendly owner. Fridge, kettle, microwave, tea, coffee, milk, washing up liquid and dish cloths all provided. Lovely decking ares for sitting right outside the rooms.

Bedside lamps would be nice. Main room light is very bright if one person wants to read and the other wishes to sleep. Otherwise perfect.

It was a wonderful place to stay with the duck by the window in the morning made it the best, the staff is exceptional.

We had a studio room facing the countryside with sheep grazing nearby. Enjoyed the peace of the deck area and the comfort of the room.

It is close to the highway, so some traffic noise was to be expected, but as our room faces away from the road it didn't bother us.

Motel is a bit dated but was ok for a one night stopover. We were quite comfortable.

Location on SH1 so a little noisy but was still fine. Bed was comfortable. Jug of milk supplied.

Nowhere to put things in bathroom - a small cupboard next to the basin would be a good addition.

Loved it!!

Loved the animals! Was really taken how friendly and tame they are with guests. Our favorite was the little black lamb sootie. Loved the friendly and efficient staff close to wellsford town centre really lovely place

We would've loved to be able to cook our own breakfast but that is not a biggie we under there is other rooms with kitchen amenities etc , we will definitely be back

Welcoming staff, comfortable beds, great facilities and minimal noise heard from the highway

Friendly staff, welcoming, even to our service dog, the resident cat was even very welcoming and curious about the service dog coming to stay.

Signage when travelling from North, entrance being on the right and on a corner isn't ideal, we initially drove past the motel and had to turn around,

Was handy for where we needed to be the next day

Very outdated the room we had. Only a bed and a table with 2 chairs of which neither was comfortable. My husband wanted to watch the rugby and the commentators spoke all in Maori. The shower was still in the 80’s as was the bar heater on the wall. It was tidy and clean though.
