About this bed and breakfast

Great space in a great place. Wifi, air con/heating, chromecast tv, bring your log in for netflix etc. TVNZ app for tv channels. Walking distance to local restaurants, cafes, chocolate shop, Mangawhai Tavern, shops, estuary, 2x local markets on Saturdays. 5 minute drive to main shops, MAZ (Mangawhai activity zone) which is great for the kids with skate park, pump track, playground, mountain bike trails and coffee cart for the adults. 7 mins to surf beach. Spacious kitchen and lounge. 3 bedrooms. Private deck to relax on. Aircon/heating. WIFI , freeview TV via Chromecast. Nespresso coffee machine for that morning wake up call. L) side unit only. R) side is a private residence and not included.

Another great stay at Rene’s house in Mangawhai. Perfect location, walking distance to shops and Bennetts Chocolate. Very comfortable bed and all that we needed during a visit to catch up with family.

The house was clean/tidy and very well set up with everything we needed. Rene was also very accomodating and communicative!

A lovely Bach to hang out in as we attended a family wedding. An easy walk to the Mangawhai town and shops, and lovely board walk along the estuary. No view but peaceful, and a lovely neighbour who helped us out with a torch during a power cut and loaned us her ironing board.

This property was so cute, clean and although small, it felt bigger, with a lovely sheltered balcony area. The kitchen and bathroom were well appointed and Rene was quick to respond to messages. Thank you Rene, we will definitely book again in the future 🙂

This is our second time staying at this lovely property. An excellent property for a group of 4 ladies having a weekend getaway. Great covered outside deck for indoor outdoor living flow. We'll be back!

My husband and I spent 5 days in this apartment while visiting family in the Mangawhai area. Our stay was made very easy as linen and towels are provided and a large supermarket is only 5 min drive away. Inside, the apartment is clean and spacious with 3 bedrooms, modern bathroom, kitchen and living area and large sheltered deck, where we enjoyed breakfast each day. Rene is very helpful and responds quickly to queries. A very pleasant stay all round.

Family Christmas 🎄 away from home. Very close to Mangawhai township & close to beach. Cycle tracks close by. Clean, spacious nest attached to another permanent dwelling. We had everything we needed & were spoilt with a beautiful Christmas tree set up in the lounge. Beds are comfortable & good parking. The canary sings a lot! 😊. We recommend this accommodation to anyone wanting a breakaway.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. Nice personal touches and a wonderful homely feel. Has everything you might need. Love that linen is also included. The place is close to all Mangawhai has to offer. We definately hope to stay again.
