You probably get what you pay for, cheap accommodation. If you’re in the area and just need a place to stay, this might be an option but definitely not if you’re looking for a nice getaway.
Just a few things to note - The WiFi was rubbish. Kept dropping off and the very few times it connected had only one bar. Mobile coverage was down to 3G so, if you’re someone who needs to stay connected that’s going to be an issue.
The toilets are at the back. Separate from the pods and shared. This could be a bit of an inconvenience, specially at night time.
Our pod was advertised as ocean view. Don’t let that fool you. The ocean is far away you’ll have a glimpse of it on a good day. Falls advertising in my opinion.
There’s not much going on onsite. A few caged birds and a muddy pond. Don’t waste your time following the beach signs because there’s no actual beach but just a seating area.
On personal note, I emailed Tony prior to our stay and requested for our pod to be decorated or a bunch of flowers to be left for my wife who was celebrating her birthday. Tony said it’s not something they’ve done before but will try do something. We turned up to a postcard which was a bit of a disappointment. Looking back now it doesn’t surprise us.
