Massive clean flat close to Edinburgh City Centre

Massive 4 bedroom flat with 2 toilets and ample space for a comfortable stay.

There is no dishwasher in the flat despite instructions for the flat use saying dirty dishes to be left in the dishwasher. The hairdryers in the flat do not work. The electric heater in the living room do not work.

Location, appearance , decor. Seriously needs some TLC. Window handles broken almost on all windows. Some sockets didn’t work, light stand not working in one bedroom. Draft coming in through Windows in far right bedroom and noisy all night. Carpets stained throughout the house, a deep clean wouldn’t go a miss. Entrance to apartment itself was dingy with a mattress sitting outside to greet you. Luxury Penthouse apartment this is not.

Excellent optionn in Edinburgh

Excellent 4 BR apartment with 2 toilets, clean, had everything needed in place. Owner consented to extend check out by an hour at no charge, much appreciated., Which was very very convenient for us. Plenty of hotels, pubs, supermarkets all short walking distance..

Nothing negative except an anti-skid mat in tub will be helpful.

It shouldn’t be advertised with lift to penthouse it should state that it only goes to floor 6 and that the apartment is

Location for price was great and having aldis and Sainsbury’s as well as pubs a short walk away we’re great

I booked this because there was a lift and it was accessible However the lift only went to floor 6 and we were on 7 And the property’s bathroom was definitely not accessible Caused a fair few problems and our wheelchair user was extremely tired after negotiating this with help from us all

hard beds, no laundry as advised, hair dryer didn't work. very unkept surrounds. The lift only took 1 person & luggage at a time.

Comfortable apartment, a little way out from the city centre, convenient for Murrayfield Stadium.

The host met us and showed us up to the apartment.

The staircase up to the apartment was a little grim and the lift wasn’t working on the Saturday night when we returned to the apartment.

Did the job nicely at the end of a family get together.

Reasonable price for a big group. Plenty of room. Good communications with hosts.

Gorgie’s a little far out if you’re planning to visit city centre (though there are busses and trams aplenty). If Murrayfield (or Tynecastle) are on your itinerary- then this is well worth considering. Be aware that you are 6 flights up, with a lift that (mostly) works for the first 5 floors. You’ll have to hike the last bit. Other than that…. No problems at all.

Great stay. Would highly recommend this property

Good location for us and we could comfortably fit 7. The owner was amazing and went above and beyond by helping us out with laundry in a pinch. He was very responsive to my questions in a timely manner. Several neighborhood restaurants within walking distance. Only 2 miles from Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile.

We liked the apartment and the location. Joseph was very responsive, and everything was very nice! The bus stop was very close to the apartment. The apartment was clean and comfortable!

The remote control to the TV set was broken, and we were not able to watch the TV .

location was in a council flat area it took away from the magnificent apartment so appeared expensive for location however this said the buses run regular to town and stops were just at the end of the street and night buses were amazing dropped you at the end of the street

The location was good, it was very near public transportation. Inside the flat is better than the outside building. All white bedding and towels so I could tell it was cleaned.

Location and carpets

On arrival there was vase of dead flowers, crumbs on kitchen floor, hob covered in dust, tea towel provided was filthy, milk provided had been opened, opened packets of cereal and crackers. A dirty nappy had been left in one of the bedroom bins. There is also a lack of storage space in the bedrooms. There were also several light fittings hanging from the ceiling and a large hole in the smaller toilet wall. Other holes in the walls to the hall were covered in tape. We do not consider an opened bottle of milk or previously opened cereals constitutes breakfast provision. On a plus point when we asked for clean tea towel and hoover, these were supplied very quickly.

only thing I would say is maybe put in a few bits of shopping in like bread and milk. It’s always nice to have a drink when you arrive but having no milk means you have to go shopping first.
