Very good price for Edinburgh and this apartment being in a pretty good location. Beds were comfortable. Rooms were spacious. Owners responded to messages quickly and were.helpful for locating nearest parking (Sainsbury's).
Kitchen was reasonably well equipped.
Great views of castle/town.
As mentioned in other reviews, the apartment is not accessible (elevator goes to 6th floor only, then you have to go up a flight of stairs). The stairwell is a little scary looking and messy.
The apartment had some minor issues that I reported to owners who promised to resolve them before next.guests arrive.
A lot of water damage and what seemed to be pretty messy paint job to try cover it up.

The apartment was clean and spacious, with heating. Very quiet too. It is situated in a local area with 3 buses into town, so never waited long, 15 minutes away. Takeaways on the doorstep including Macdonalds and an Aldi's for food shopping. Overall we enjoyed our stay there and would stay again.
The approach to the apartment was a concern initially as it was called a penthouse and we were walking towards social housing. The rug outside the flat leaves a lot to be desired, you'd do better to fit rubber floor tiles. A proper can opener is required and a bath plug. A couple of holes in the wall need filling i.e. curtain hook missing. Some window openers need replacing and you need to be tall to shut them.

Massive 4 bedroom flat with 2 toilets and ample space for a comfortable stay.
There is no dishwasher in the flat despite instructions for the flat use saying dirty dishes to be left in the dishwasher. The hairdryers in the flat do not work. The electric heater in the living room do not work.
