Garden Flat

Location is amazing. It’s in a really great part of the city, away from the hustle of peak tourist season (august) very good cafes, bars and restaurants in walking distance. Also close to Arthur’s seat and Holyrood. The place was very clean and comfortable, host was very attentive.

I do want to mention it’s a bit damp down there, it is a garden level flat. There can be a bit of a dank aroma to it but airing it out every few days helped a lot. However, it did not stop us from enjoying our stay.

Kitchen was a little musty and damp but it didn't matter and did not affect the rest of the flat, I think it's a bit of an Edinburgh thing in these thick stone-built buildings. Don't be put off, the flat is very comfy.

Bett in einem engen Raum von einer Seite kaum zugänglich. Steckdosen rar. Ziemlich dunkler Souterrain. Also besser fotografiert als die Realität hergibt.

The location is great! Flat in general was nice and clean and certainly warm. Loved the garden even in the winter.

I think the parkìng could have been an issue if it hadn't been the Christmas time. The cooker was a bit of a nightmare, especially cooking the christmas dinner, as the cooker settings had rubbed off. Janeanne did send a photo, but the picture didn't seem to coordinate with the cooker settings - or what I could woŕk out anyway! The flat is in the basement, which is quite dark. Finally, where the bed is positioned in the bedroom presents problems which have been highlighted in previous reviews, I am surè this could be addressed though!
