Garden Flat

Det var meget hyggeligt og godt udstyret med alt man havde brug for. Vi fik te og kaffe og shortbread og mælk da vi ankom. Lejligheden var rigtig stor og hyggeligt indrettet. Janeanne var nem at komme i kontakt med og meget imødekommende Området var dejligt og lidt op af vejen lå der en helsekostforretning, et supermarkedet og en bager og et lille café

Vi havde problemer at sætte soveværelsetvinduet på klem og vi manglede beskrivelsen af ovnen da man ikke længere kan se hvilken indstilling man bruger.

To have the use of a whole flat so close to town centre was great. Buses to Edinburgh centre/station on the doorstep, or only a 25min walk. Local shops and a good pub, restaurants galore on Leith Walk . Having your own bit of garden was great. Flat is thoughtfully decorated with personal touches which make a very welcome change from the corporate feel of most apartment holiday lets. Janeanne was good on communication and info. Kitchen and bathroom stocked with basics and kitchen well supplied with cooking kit if wanted. very comfy bed and had excellent night's sleep. Would definitely stay there again.

Nothing. Be aware that you can hear the upstairs neighbours sometimes - living room only.

The location is great! Flat in general was nice and clean and certainly warm. Loved the garden even in the winter.

I think the parkìng could have been an issue if it hadn't been the Christmas time. The cooker was a bit of a nightmare, especially cooking the christmas dinner, as the cooker settings had rubbed off. Janeanne did send a photo, but the picture didn't seem to coordinate with the cooker settings - or what I could woŕk out anyway! The flat is in the basement, which is quite dark. Finally, where the bed is positioned in the bedroom presents problems which have been highlighted in previous reviews, I am surè this could be addressed though!
