The apartment has an amazing view that you can never get tired of. It is centrally located by restaurants, cafes, nice walks and very comfortable. Stefan was very helpful in finding parking and also let me do a quick laundry in the apt.

Excelldnt apartment with great views

Central location right on the square. Amazing views out over the lake. Comes with free parking a short walk away. Apartment has everything you need. Full equipped kitchen if you want to cook in. Though many restaurants near by. Host is brilliant and was fantastic with directions to parking.

3 flights of stairs may put some off. Though not a problem for us

A very enjoyable and relaxing stay

The apartment looks out directly over the lake towards the island. Absolutely beautiful views. Very quiet and you hear the water, boats and birds rather than the buzz when the square gets busy, although occasionally the odd saxophonist under the Palazzotto floats over. Stefano is a very kind, helpful and welcoming host. All in all a very enjoyable stay.

Lovely apartment with amazing views

The view is incredible and the location is superb. Loads of excellent bars and restaurants just out side the door. Very comfortable apartment with everything we needed for a wonderful relaxing week. The apartment looks out over the lake so the only noise is from boats coming in and out...... and the ducks...! Orta is a magical place and we will be back.

Malerisch wohnen im Herzen von Orta san Giulio

Die Lage direkt am Marktplatz, im Herzen von Orta ist außergewöhnlich. Schon beim Reinkommen in das Appartement stand man im sonnendurchfluteten Raum, direkt am See mit Blick auf die Isola San Giulio. Das Appartement ist einfach, aber liebevoll eingerichtet und es ist alles da, was man benötigt. Für 2 Personen perfekt. Das Bad ist vergleichsweise groß, mit vielen Ablagen, Badewanne mit Duschabtrennung, Bidet. Die Matratze vom Bett ist gut, eher hart als zu weich und nicht durchgelegen. Der Blick vom Sofa und Sessel auf den See und die Insel ist wunderbar. Alle Fenster haben Insektenschutz. Auch aus der Küche und dem Schlafzimmer hat man diesen Super-Ausblick. Die Küchenutensilien sind genau auf 2 Personen abgestimmt 😉. Auch Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher und Toaster ist vorhanden, auch eine Waschmaschine. Leider kein Geschirrspüler, den muss man mitbringen 😀. Uns hat es ganz hervorragend gefallen. Die Begrüßung durch den Gastgeber war sehr herzlich, er hat uns gleich Tipps gegeben und in den bereitliegenden Ortsplan eingezeichnet. Die Garage in der Nähe der Unterkunft (ca 200 m entfernt) war auch ein Highlight, gerade wenn morgens die Touristenmassen anrückten,wusste man zu schätzen, dass man bei der Rückkehr sein Plätzchen sicher hat. Alles in allem, das Komplettpaket für einen schönen Urlaub.

Wir waren uns bewusst, dass wir mitten im Hotspot von Orta, in der Fußgängerzone, am Marktplatz und der Anlegestelle der Ausflugsboote wohnen, insofern war uns klar, dass hier nicht die absolute Ruhe herrscht und deswegen kann man nicht von nicht gefallen sprechen. Tagsüber und abends bis ca 22:30 Uhr ist der Geräuschpegel rund um den Marktplatz durch die vielen Menschen, Ausflugsboote und Restaurants ( über einem wohnt man schließlich, übrigens sehr leckere Pizza) natürlich höher. Uns hat es nicht gestört. Rund um die Uhr war ein Brummen wahrnehmbar, vermutlich die Kühlung von einem der Restaurants, dass war besonders nachts, wenn es ansonsten sehr still war, zu hören und wer da empfindlich ist, braucht zum Schlafen ggf. Ohrenstopfen. Das Haus ist sehr alt und wohl auch mehrfach umgebaut, insofern hat jedes Geschoss seine eigene Treppengestaltung im Treppenhaus. Besonders hellhörig fandenwir es nicht. Die Wohnung ist im 3. Stock, was jedes Mal Fitnesstraining verspricht beim Hochgehen. Aber Orta ist eh nix für Besucher mit Problemen beim Laufen. Uns hat es nicht gestört, wir fanden das eher lustig, aber man sollte sich dessen bewusst sein.

Entre le ciel et l'eau

La plus belle vue sur l'île de San Giulio ! Un spectacle féerique à toute heure de la journée. L'appartement donne sur le lac, on a l'impression d'être sur le pont d'un bateau. On entend le clapotis de l'eau et les cris des hirondelles et des canards...tout en étant au cœur du petit village, à deux pas de l'embarcadère et de la magnifique place Motta. L'appartement est lumineux et confortable. La literie est excellente, la salle de bain est grande, il y a tout ce qu'il faut dans la cuisine. Le garage juste avant la partie piétonne est un privilège. Et l'accueil de Stefano très attentionné. Le tour de la presqu'île à pied est une très jolie promenade. On peut se baigner à plusieurs endroits, l'eau est délicieuse et claire. Nous avons fait nos petites courses alimentaires dans l'épicerie de la place Motta, très pratique, excellent jambon 😉 et nous avons adoré y prendre un Spritz en regardant le soleil se coucher. Bref, nous avons hâte de revenir !

Una belissima cornice sul lago d'Orta

L'appartamento, situato nella piazza principale di Orta San Giulio, è molto ampio, pulito e confortevole. La cucina è attrezzatissima. La vista è fantastica da tutti gli ambienti con ampia vetrata che incornicia la romantica Isola di San Giulio. Il proprietario, sig. Stefano, è una persona gentilissima e molto disponibile e ci ha offerto il transfer da e per la vicina stazione ferroviaria. Qunado torneremo al lago d'Orta sarà sicuramente il nostro riferimento.
