The location of the apartment is absolutely fantastic and the views are magnificent. The apartment is very spacious and the wifi is an added bonus also. Lovely sitting at the table for breakfast and evening meals overlooking the lake - just serene and lovely to experience.

The smart application on the tv (netflix did not load up after numerous attempts) - a new tv is probably required really. There is no air conditioning anywhere at all throughout the apartment which is 100% required as the rooms become a sauna - even if a wall mounted unit cannot be fitted due to environmental reasons, a couple of mobile units (as the shops have) are required as a minimum - it was impossible to sleep. The standard fan that was supplied was useless as the top speed was very slow - the motor bust be old and not working properly. The mosquitoes were everywhere throughout the apartment also - we were bitten a lot - if there were means to cool the apartment this would be minimal. The advert stated that there was a microwave, there is no microwave at the apartment - the oven is usable but very small - the kitchen really needs an upgrade. We stayed here a few years ago and thought then that it needed an update in certain areas, but nothing has been updated. The price is now much higher than when we stayed just prior to covid yet no improvements have been made. The headboard on the bed needs securing to the wall - or indeed a new bed would be beneficial as even if you move slightly the headboard (Metal) bounces off the wall waking everyone up. One of the dining room chairs needs changing as when I sat on it it felt like it was going to fall apart as the back was loose, this was moved so we did not use it. Thank god for google translate as the (lovely) lady who gave us the keys could not speak a word of English and my Italian is very limited - we got by but I would have expected minimal English especially when arranging the key pick up. Lastly, there were absolutely no items left in the kitchen as a welcome basic starter. No milk, sugar, coffee - absolutely nothing, luckily we brought things with us and our flight time allowed us to find a shop for milk and basic food items. Last time we had a welcome basic pack. This apartment could be amazing!

Great location, exactly what we liked for this area. Place was as described and fitted out needs perfectly

Stairs, travel lighter.....bus or taxi information would have been good and maybe simple directions for appliances in English as suggestions. Any area guides, shopping restraunts etc would be good but we did love it.

The apartment is old and charming, full of character and in a fantastic location within minutes of great eateries and the main piazza. The bedroom and living room are light and airy and decorated with loads of pictures and knick knacks which give it character. Bathroom is typical Italian and dark but ok. If you prefer a clean, minimalist style, this apartment is not for you! Ramona, who met us with the keys and parking permit is just lovely and responds quickly to messages. It’s a beautiful old building and there are a couple of flights of stairs to the front door and no lift.

The bathroom could use a refresh and maybe some new towels

Please note that taxi couldn’t enter the town. Had to walk with suitcases through the town, over cobble stones. Traveling with someone with limited abilities this was a task. There are so several flights of steps to front door so again if struggle with physical ability this can be a problem.

Excellent value for money, Cristina the local real was a diamond too...the views from the windows are fantastic. Kitchen facilities are excellent also..... We absolutely loved the place and will certainly be back.

Nothing really, just room for opportunity to raise rent.... TV in the bedroom, larger TV in living and maybe a newer bathroom...claw foot bath etc...the apartment is perfect if the owner would think of these upgrades...either way the place is tremendous.

The location was just perfect. Also loved the traditional style of the decor. This apartment is really loved by it's owner.

Not major but the shower curtain was a little bit too long so could be a little bit unsafe.

Excellent apartment with fantastic views over the lake, apartment was well equiped and laid out you felt at home while there and we enjoyed an extremely relaxing Holiday, it is in an excellent location for visiting the local area, we hired a Car from Milan which is usefull for shopping etc the parking area is just a short walk from the apartment, On arrival we messaged as instructed and within Five minutes a very nice young Lady arrived who showed us around the Apartment and parking area and was always available to answer any questions during our stay, It was our Honeymoon and also My Wife's Cousins Wedding in Orta and after seeing this apartment they have already booked it for there anniversay next year and we are also looking at dates to return. I would not change a thing the apartment goes with the area it is in which gives your holiday an extra special feeling
