Appartamenti Orta

The location was 10/10. It was in the heart of the Historic Centre and there was a fantastic view of rooftops and the lake from our apartment. The kitchen was well equipped and there were 2 bathrooms which was very convenient. It was a lovely experience and we would stay there again if we returned to Orta San Giulio.

Nothing. Just a heads up for tourists planning a trip to Orta San Giulio, there isn't a supermarket in the town to buy a wide selection of food, only Delicatessens selling cured meats and cheeses and pasta etc. There is however a Conad 3,6 km away if you have a car.

Wonderful situation, close to restaurants, lake and boat trips. Beautiful town, excellent restaurants especially Leon d’Or, , Venus and Ai Due Santi.

It should be made clear that the second bedroom has bunk beds, so it’s not really suitable for two adults who do not wish to share a bed. Electricity is dicey, most sockets don’t take modern plugs Noisy around 6am due to daily refuse collection from nearby restaurants, especially bottles We received 3 scam WhatsApp before and during the stay. The scammers knew all the details and tried to make us pay them instead of Booking. Owners blame Booking for this.

Cute place right in the center of the historic part of the town. A nice view from a long skinny window/door and a nice veranda to sit outside looking down the alleyway towards the lake. This place super clean and well appointed. It had everything we needed !

Nothing. Everything was wonderful!

comfy mattress. good location.

the stairs were very hard to climb for my mam who has had two hip replacements. no mention of these stairs on booking. not suitable for older people or families with buggies etc. 48 steep steps up to it. the lighting in the apartment was very very bad. facilities very basic. had to pay extra for heating. no sheets or duvets on bed. very few towels and we had to go and buy toilet paper. no cutlery in one apartment.
