A beautiful stay we will never forget!

This charming apartment is located in the old historic area of Orta and is close to the Piazza where there are so many restaurants, cafes, gelaterias etc. The room was super cute, and had everything we needed for our 3-night stay. The owner, Carola and Veronica were extremely helpful and we felt we were taken very good care of from the start until the end. Thanks to their recommendations on places to eat, our stay in Lake Orta turned out to be so special and so enjoyable.

Amazing spot in a beautiful town!

The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable. The location was impeccable, right near the main piazza and many restaurants etc. We had a balcony overlooking the main street so could see people walking past. We loved Orta San Giulio, what a magical place.

There really wasn't much to dislike. The main bedroom is across the street from a restaurant. It wasn't noisy as the windows are thick, but the light from the restaurant can be annoying, may just need a blind/curtain for the main room.

Beds were not that comfortable - 2nd bedroom was a twin , not easy to convert into a double.

Great location, just minutes from the main square. Our hosts were extremely friendly and professional. Great suggestions about restaurants and what to see and do. They could not have been more helpful. Overall the apartment was spacious and well equipped.

Only a tiny balcony and noisy early in the morning mornings. Bins all collected just after 6am!

great location but very lacking.

comfy mattress. good location.

the stairs were very hard to climb for my mam who has had two hip replacements. no mention of these stairs on booking. not suitable for older people or families with buggies etc. 48 steep steps up to it. the lighting in the apartment was very very bad. facilities very basic. had to pay extra for heating. no sheets or duvets on bed. very few towels and we had to go and buy toilet paper. no cutlery in one apartment.

Lovely apartment close the the central Piazza

The location was fabulous, a few minutes walk from the central Piazza. The apartment was well appointed and spacious. The two bedrooms were absolutely fine, but worth noting they are on a mezzanine floor, with curtains separating from the downstairs living space. Carola and Veronica were lovely and very helpful. It was great that were were able to pay to use a garage close by.

Perfect short stay

Perfect location, a lovely wine bar on the street below, a view out over the lake. The apartment had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The hosts were helpful, communication was easy and clear. Perfect place to stay for a few days.

Great hosts. Accommodation was excellent. The location was about as close to where we wanted to be as was possible. The surrounding area was beautiful.

Super location, friendly hosts, good value!

Fantastic location - just a few steps away from the main square. Carola and Veronica were very friendly and helpful, they even picked us up from the station. The apartment was quite large - with only two of us staying it felt very big, it would be a perfect size for a small family. The kitchen was basic but everything you need - oven, stove, microwave, plenty of cooking utensils, cutlery, plates etc. The beds were very comfortable!

There were a few small things which were not ideal. The apartment does not get much natural light and the 'terrace' is very small (a tiny balcony with two stools). Very little was provided in the apartment in terms of food - basics like cooking oil, tea and coffee would have been appreciated. We had to sort out rubbish disposal ourselves which involved taking it to a unit a couple of streets away, which was a little difficult to find. Overall, though, a great place to stay and very good value!

Lovely historic apartment in the center of Orta

The location, view, and history of the apartment are amazing. The layout of the apartment was really comfortable for 4 adults and 1 child. The apartment is in the center but still very quiet. Modern kitchen and bathrooms in an ancient building. The shower was great. The view is fabulous!

I hate to write poorly about the place, because the apartment is great -- but could be alot better with a few upgrades. The beds were not very comfortable, one bedroom is a mezzanine and the drapes hardly keep out the light, and the second bedroom overlooks a common hallway shared with the neighbors, so noise and light comes at all hours of the night. The beds and curtains could easily be fixed with some upgrades, which I hope the owners do, because overall the place is great.

Great apartment

Location of the property was excellent, seconds from the main square. The apartment is really spacious and we had a really comfortable stay. The shower is excellent! We really liked the appartment and would definitely stay again. It's lovely and light with huge windows but also very private. You can see the lake front.

Little things like the beds weren't made ready for us and the bedding left for us to make the beds our selves which was a bit unusual. We were given an industrial sized soap which can be used to top up dispensers but there was no soap dispenser in the upstairs bathroom. No shower gel or shampoo etc. Be warned about lots of stairs but no issue for us.

the apartment was wonderful, the location perfect and the host excellent. they helped us with just about everything and made our 6 day a dream vacation for us as a family. thank you very much and we do hope to see you again soon

Well worth it. Great place!

Sunny and spacious flat, there were three of us and we didn't feel crowded at all, as there was plenty of space in the kitchen and living/dining areas. Great location, a very short walk to the main Piazza. The hosts were lovely and very helpful. The flat has a fantastic feature in the dining/living room - a very large window that opens completely, letting guests eat al fresco.

Not really a problem, just something to be aware of. As it's a medieval building, there are no lifts. We stayed in the top floor flat and there were three flights of stairs to get there; however not an issue for moderately fit guests.

Bei dieser Unterkunft ist noch viel Luft nach oben...

Die Lage ist hervorragend, in einem alten Gebäude mitten im schönen Ort, dennoch sehr ruhig. Von der Terrasse schaut man durch die Häuserschlucht auf den wunderschönen See. Die Vermieterinnen sind sehr freundlich, sie lieben ihren Job.

Das Appartement war nicht wie beschrieben, der Anzeige zugeordneten Fotos entsprachen nicht der Realität. Die Einrichtung aus den 90er Jahren war zusammengewürfelt. Vor allem war die Sauberkeit sehr mangelhaft.

Nettes Freundinnen-WE im schönen Orta San Giulio in preiswerter gut gelegener FeWo

Schönes historisches Gebäude in sehr zentraler aber ruhiger Lage. Sehr netter, informativer Kontakt mit der Eigentümerin, die uns extra noch eine Privatgarage besorgt hatte, obwohl man die normalerweise nur bis 30.9. bei Verfügbarkeit buchen kann.

Beide Schlafräume haben keinerlei Fenster nach draußen, das eine nur ein Fenster zum Hausflur, der andere liegt auf einer Empore mit einem Vorhang vom Wohn-/Essraum darunter getrennt. Lüften ist daher eher schwierig. Wie beschrieben sehr steile Treppen bis zur Wohnung, sicher nichts für unfitte Leute

Vue splendide et confort

D'abord l'accueil de nos deux hôtesses qui se sont aimablement déplacées jusqu'à la gare pour venir nous chercher et nous ont fourni des tas de renseignements très utiles. La beauté de la vue depuis l'appartement, un lieu exceptionnel (une rénovation très réussie, bravo) où l'on se sent bien, car tout est prévu pour rendre le séjour confortable. Merci à Carola et Veronica pour leur gentillesse.

Ce sera mon petit chez moi à Orta

Veronica et Carola ponctuelles. L'appartement n'attend que nous. Tout y est fonctionnel. J'ai adoré les fenêtres... Lire les commentaires antérieurs pour la montée des escaliers, pas d'ascenseur (normal) et les dernières marches sont sérieuses 😅 La ventilo fonctionne très bien mais s'il fait très chaud. Je doute de leur efficacité comme de partout.

Le matelas du grand lit : un peu mou et penché en raison de la mezzanine.

Séjour d'une semaine en famille

Nous avons loué 2 appartements pour un séjour d'une semaine en famille à Orta. Les appartements sont idéalement situés en plein centre historique. Ils sont confortables et bien équipés. De plus Carola et Veronica sont des hôtes charmantes, très à l'écoute, réactives et nous ont donné plein de bons conseils. Je ne peux que recommander !

Il faut avoir en tête que les 2 appartements ne sont pas dans le même immeuble et un des logements est au 3e étage sans ascenseur, avec des marches un peu raides. Mais ça n'a pas été un problème pour nous

Steile Treppen.kein Klima. Wärmeschutz fehlte.falsche Präsentation der Wohnung.nicht behinderten gerecht.Entladung der Koffer und Weg zur Wohnung durch die Altstadt sehr mühsam und nur für durchschnittlich trainiere junge Menschen möglich.
