Amazing uninterrupted views over lake Orta and San Giulio Island. Couldn’t be better located for visiting Orta Giulio. Old world charm with good facilities. Very hot when we were there (early apparently for June) but aircon made the bedrooms comfortable for sleeping. All the equipment if we wanted to cook. Stefano was very friendly and helpful with good English- he picked us up from the railway station.
Didn’t dislike anything. You need to be fit enough to climb stairs as the Belvedere Apartment, in which we stayed, is on the third floor.

This is a fabulous place to stay. Right in the middle of the square. The accommodation was excellent, the views breathtaking and the shower pressure perfect! The secure underground parking was great. We will be back.
The reward is worth the effort of walking the short distance between car and accommodation with your bags and the 3 flights of stairs.

Stefano was an excellent host and came to meet us at the train station on arrival. He took time to talk us through where to go and what to do. The apartment has beautiful views over the lake in two directions. It is simply furnished but has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bed was very comfortable. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Location. View. Very helpful and patient owner/manager who was fluent in English.
The stairs and climb to the apartment. We didn't drive but it wld seem there isn't any nearby parking.
