So much potential with a little more customer care thought.

Good location

The door closes itself, we got locked out with some luggage still in the premises for an hour and a half, in blistering heat, awaiting owners wife to reopen. Ended up in hospital a few days later taking an allergic reaction to bed bugs from this premises. This premises was not as clean as the owner suggested with rubbish in drawers of kitchen and not even a kettle to make a coffee.

Cute place with steeep stairs

Great location close to town centre. Very cute inside. Bathroom saloon doors try to take you out on the way through lol.

3 levels with very steep stairs. Bedroom is on the 3rd floor so we left our suitcases on the bottom floor because of that - not ideal. There’s no AirCon and with the bedroom on level 3 it got quite hot even with the window open.

Perfect location, great apartment

The location to the Main Square and Menin Gate is fabulous. A short walk up a pretty street and you’re there! Easy access to enter via a lock box. Parking was found not far away but we did have a Sunday (free parking). There’s a parking permit inside the apartment, but some local knowledge text to us about this beforehand would have been handy. Both beds were comfortable. Each on a different level with doors to each to make very private. The top floor bed very cozy. The sofa bed, firm but very comfortable. This apartment has three floors. Two accessed by narrow, steep stairs. That’s not a problem if you are fit for it. Just don’t wear socks while going down the stairs and slip all the way down like me! We would choose again.

Very handy for Menin Gate, town centre and the city wall. Traditional home and nice kitchen, dining area. Beds were the best of our trip.

The bathroom is right next to the kitchen separated by a saloon type door which offered little privacy.

great location & facilities at the house. beautiful presentation

stairs to 1st floor lounge/bed settee & 2nd floor bedroom are very steep. I was travelling with 2 x 88 year olds & this made the stay very uncomfortable especially with the bathroom being at ground floor

Visit to Ypres for 11 November events

The situation of the house is good and parking is easy. Within easy walking distance of the main square in Ypres and very near the Menin Gate and cafes and restaurants

Layout of house difficult particularly for older visitors. 1 loo on ground floor, very steep narrow stairs to 2 floors, bedroom on 2nd floor, sofa-bed on 1st floor. We booked for 3 nights but only stayed for 1 night.

Overall a pleasant stay in a little Ieper house

Nice Little house. Near the Menen poort and the city wall.

Lacks a bit of equipment, such as deep plates for pasta, or basic kitchen products like salt. Parking around the house requires blue disk. Would have been good to know on beforehand.

Cosy cottage ideal for 2 adults and a baby, steps away from Menin Gate

The location was perfect--not even 5 min from Menenpoort and the Grotemarkt. The small private patio was great--a gem in the middle of the city. We were pleased to be able to book this place on such short notice and with a great value for money. Bernard was a great host as well. From the moment I made the booking, he was super responsive and friendly. He even set up a baby bed for us, knowing that we were bringing our baby (although it was missing a mattress--we ended up using our own travel cot). We appreciated his attention to detail and allowing us to check in a couple hours earlier.

Cleanliness was questionable in some areas: we had our 11 month old crawling on the rug upstairs and she pulled quite a bit of long hairs up (hairs that didn't belong to our family). The sheets on the sofa bed had stains on them.

Geen tv beneden , wat wel gemakkelijk zou zijn met kleinere kindjes. Ze alleen boven laten naast de stijle trap, geen goed idee.

Grote ontgoocheling, geen vertrouwen. Beloftes v teruggave 50% vd verblijfskosten komen niet.

Verschrikkelijk. Echt vuil. Ik contacteerde de verhuurder. Hij ging een compensatie voorzien. Momenteel niet meer bereikbaar, dus geen teruggave van de helft, Geen aanrader.

Netheid. Heel vuil. Ik nam foto's en stuurde ze door naar de eigenaar. Hij zou dit ´regelen ´. Dus echt vuil op alle vlakken. Keuken met toestellen stof, etensresten in oven vuil in de douche,... tafel en stoelen plakten van de viezigheid. Te veel om op te noemen. Jammer omdat ik de verhuurder bertrand tekst en foto's stuurde. Hij leek mij oprecht en eerlijk en zei dit te begrijpen en stelde zelf een compensatie voor... hij zou de poetsverantwoordelujke aanspreken... Na verschillende pogingen, steeds niet bereikbaar. Lijkt me geblokkeerd te hebben want mijn berichten werden niet meer gelezen via WhatsApp.
