Stylish, comfortable and clean. A lovely place to be based for our stay in Ypres.

A very stylish and comfortable place. Clean and well maintained too. The beds were large and very comfortable, lots of seating in first floor lounge. Pleasant out look and super handy location for the train and the town centre. And the welcome beer was delicious!

Having the accommodation over so many floors was a bit awkward for getting luggage in but was also a huge part of the place's charm. Well worth the minor hassle.

By far one of the best places ever. Smart TV, excellent wifi, easy access with a code communicated well prior to arrival. Beautiful accommodation, central and close to Menin gate

Lovely property, perfect for a stay with friends. Very spacious and central to everything. Would definitely recommend it.

The cleaning company had let the owners down. It hadn’t been cleaned and was full of dirty laundry and rubbish from the previous guests. However the owners were extremely responsive and came immediately to resolve the issue leaving the place ready to use within one hour of our arrival.

A brilliant house, would absolutely recommend.

This is a fantastic house, in a great location in Ypres, very close to everything and really comfortable. It felt like a home from home, not fussy or formal. Big living room and dining area, plus a sizeable dining area in the kitchen, and an outdoors enclosed area with table and chairs. Loads of room for a group, and really nice bedrooms with good bed linen. Door code worked every time. Kitchen has a good coffee maker and microwave, plus equipment for regular cooking. Hosts responded to queries really fast, and were very helpful. Parking is available close by. We just loved our time there.

We got unusually hot weather, and the triple room at the top of the house has a single bed up a ladder under the eaves which was very warm at night. But we imagine most people won't get that weather. There's no washing machine, and the hosts prefer no frying (leaving lingering smells) - all fine with us, we just used a laundrette close by and were mainly using the house for breakfast and lunch, eating out in the evenings (lots of options in Ypres). We knew from reviews that towels are small, so we just brought one each. Really, these are only little things - overall, it was great.

Het was heel gezellig huis. Onze familie heeft er echt van genoten en alles was aanwezig, wat je nodig had.

Een airco had wel handig geweest, want slapen was heel moeillijk met de hitte.

- Weinig en kleine handdoeken. Dit hadden we al in andere reviews gelezen, dus wij hadden zelf extra handdoeken meegenomen. - Geen extra kussens aanwezig. De kussens zijn erg zacht en wellicht niet voor iedereen geschikt.

Mooi verblijf

Wat een mooi huis... fijn gelegen in het centrum van Ieper met allerlei dingen om te doen en restaurants dichtbij. Gezellig huis om te verblijven, goeie bedden, voldoende badkamers... Alles wat de nodig hadden voor ons weekend was aanwezig in het huis.

Bij aankomst was het wat moeilijk om parking te vinden dichtbij het huisje en een heel gedoe om de boodschappen uit te laden. Op de parkings wat verder waren er wel plekken.

Centraal gelegen accommodatie

Het huis had een héél centrale ligging, alle bezienswaardigheden lagen op max 15 min wandelafstand. Heel mooie zithoek en eetkamer. Elke kamer had een eigen wastafel. 1 kamer had een douche, 2 kamers een losstaand bad. De 4de kamer moest gebruik maken van een afzonderlijke badkamer met douche. In de zitruimte had je een heel mooi uitzicht over het park. Het station is juist aan de overkant maar je hebt er totaal geen last van. De buurt is heel proper. De host reageerde heel snel en correct op onze vragen.

De kar met vuil linnen van de vorige logeerders stond er bij aankomst en is er het ganse WE blijven staan. Dat was geen aangename ontvangst. Er was ook heel weinig basisgerief aanwezig in de keuken bv peper, zout, olie, bierglazen, ... De hoofdkussens zijn van heel slechte kwaliteit en hebben niets qua stevigheid. De woning bevat 4 verdiepingen, er zijn heel veel trappen en is zeker niet voor iedereen toegankelijk. De keuken ligt op de gelijkvloers en de eetruimte op 1ste verdiep. Niet zo handig. In 2 van de 4 kamers stond een losstaand bad, zonder doucheslang. Een douche was wel beter geweest.

Absolute aanrader als je Ieper en omgeving wilt bezoeken, ideale locatie en alle comfort aanwezig.

Het huis is qua locatie ideaal, goed gelegen dichtbij het station, op 10 minuten wandelafstand van het centrum en met ruime gratis parkeermogelijkheid, quasi voor de deur. De beschrijving van het huis klopt perfect en alles is aanwezig om een comfortabel en aangenaam verblijf te garanderen; We waren daar met ons gezin met 8 personen in totaal en ze waren allemaal heel positief over het huis. Een absolute aanrader als je in Ieper verblijft.
