Mario was an excellent host. Always very obliging- even making us food to take on the train to Berlin. Our room was excellent - very comfortable with everything we needed. The hotel was easy walking distance to the Christmas market in Grand Place and other markets. Perfect.

Great room, great location, great host, great value - what more can you ask for?

Spacious room and bathroom. Well stocked for in room tea/coffee making and with a few soft drinks provided. Small bottle of fresh semi skimmed milk also provided - why do even high standard hotels not provide this???

This B&B is really top notch. The owner has carefully designed every aspect of this experience starting with check in. The owner has made a map of the city and highlights all the places you would like to see. The breakfast room is very attractive and the breakfast is wonderful, especially the croissants. The room itself is made for comfort and convenience. The bed is very comfortable with a really nice down comforter. Coffee, water, soda, candy are all provided in the room The shower is large and easy to use with soft towels. The owner/innkeeper is a great resource.

Absolute gorgeous room.

Absolutely beautiful room, extremely spacious, one of the best rooms I have ever stayed in. The freshly made breakfast was outstanding and personal touches in the room made it very special. The B&B is in a perfect location, close to the grand place. I would highly recommend this B&B to stay, it simply stunning.

It was absolutely gorgeous!! Beautifully renovated. Huge main room and entry area. Large bathroom. Fantastic coffee machine on the kitchenette cupboard. Good cupboard for clothes. Great location, so close to everything. Wonderful owner running the B&B. It exceeded my expectations.

We were greeted on arrival with everything we needed - map, recommendations, etc. Mario is an exceptional host. Breakfast was made to order and superb, and he graciously accommodated requests to eat early . The room was re-supplied daily with towels, beverages, and treats. The room was spacious and contemporary, and the bed was quite comfortable.

There is nothing we didn’t like. Every detail was thoughtful, even the front door being painted red so it was easy to locate when returning. Due to the building design, not every room is on the same level as an elevator stop. If stairs are an issue, simply ask for one of the rooms that has direct access to the elevator.

Mario is very welcoming and introduces Brussels for beginners for valuable tips, indicating all the interesting places, restaurants and pubs with a map that he gives you. Cannot remember a better introduction to any city elsewhere.

Spotlessly clean and beautiful room with everything you could possibly need. Very modern and high specification amenities. Spacious and comfortable with quirky details. The owner, Mario, was very helpful and provided lots of ideas for things to see and places to eat and drink.

We had a wonderful time at Art de Sejour B&B, the room was very clean and cozy, everything we needed for a good rest. The breakfast was good, it was served in a lovely and welcoming room and everything was fresh and delicious, we looked forward to it each morning. The atmosphere was peaceful and the host Mario was kind. Definitely a great place to stay especially for couples.

Amazing property.. highly recommend!

Beautiful boutique apartments so close to central Brussels. Room size was excellent, complimentary waters, assortments of tea and coffee, fantastic shower but the best was the breakfast prepared by Mário each day… amazing! Do yourself a favour and book this place!

Nothing.. only thing to note is there is a small section of stairs once you get out of the lift on each floor to get to each apartment. Didn’t worry us at all.

Wonderful base to explore Brussels from

The room was airy and bright and the attention to detail was notable. The breakfast (both content and presentation) were great. Our host was so very helpful, really making sure that we maximised the opportunity of a short stay.

There’s nothing that we didn’t like. If I’m really petty I would have liked two tea bags of each type in the room but I know I could have asked and they would have appeared as if by magic!

Best Hotel/B&B ever!

The apartment was very clean and spacious with beautiful features, decor and furniture that made it feel like home. Mario was very welcoming right from the start and even helped with finding parking. The facilities were some of the best I’ve seen. The bathroom has everything you’d want. A fridge and small kitchen area was provided with complimentary items included. The TV had modern features. Air conditioning worked perfectly. No expense spared.

Phenomenal!

From the time I booked the reservation, almost a year in advance, Mario has been a great communicator. When we arrived that didn’t change, he mapped out some areas for us to visit and provided some suggestions. The accommodations were phenomenal; beautiful, clean, safe, private, quiet and convenient. His breakfasts were exactly what we needed to start our day and his smoothies were so delicious. Cannot rave enough about Art de Sejour and Mario. Book here and you won’t retreat it.

The room was at least 3 times the size of a normal hotel room. Extremely spacious bathroom was well appointed. Host Mario took time to show us how to get to the main attractions. Location was super-quiet.

The best in Brussels!

My husband and I stayed 3 nights at Art De Sejour and I cannot speak more highly of our stay. Brussels was our first stop on a month-long European adventure, and I doubt any of our other accommodations will come close to this experience. Firstly, the location is excellent. Not right in the noise and hustle and bustle of the city centre, but close enough that everything is accessible within a 10-15 min walk, including the central train station. Secondly, the accommodation is superb. Mario has done a tremendous job in creating the perfect place for travellers, where absolutely nothing has been overlooked. I felt just as comfortable as if I was in my own home. The shower was wonderful, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was immaculately clean. All of the extra touches were there - coffee machine, fridge with free drinks, quality Loccitane toiletries just to name a few. Lastly, Mario the wonderful owner made our stay even more special. He provides you with a map and advice upon arrival, and every morning fuels you for your day ahead with freshly made croissants, breads, cut fruit, yogurt, granola, choice of cooked eggs (which he personally prepares for you), deli meat, smoothie shots, coffees etc. I have written and read many reviews over the years, and people often say they would be happy to return. This is the first time I have ever thought I would never even consider looking at alternative options if I am lucky enough to visit Brussels again. I truly hope I have the opportunity to return in the future! And Mario, it goes without saying we would love to see your stunningly handsome and young face again!!!

the property met and exceeded our expectations. it was immaculately clean and nothing had been overlooked from the quality of the linen and towels to the toiletries and in room coffee facilities not to mention the complimentary soft drinks in the fridge. The breakfast was also very good and ample.

Little Gem in Brussels

This little gem is located on a residential street easily identified by a cheerful red door. Step through that red door into a spotless, tastefully decorated interior filled with natural light, neutral tones, and tasteful accents. Upon check-in, host Mario warmly welcomed us and immediately made us feel at home. He provided a detailed map of the area and took the time to highlight must-see attractions, scenic walking routes, and hidden local gems. Mario also recommended several restaurants tailored to our tastes, ensuring we enjoyed the best of the local cuisine. His thoughtful suggestions and insider knowledge helped us make the absolute most of our visit, turning a great trip into an unforgettable experience. The entrance and dining room of the bed and breakfast were beautifully decorated—bright, modern, and full of charm. We stayed in Room 4, tucked under the roof, which added a unique and charming touch. The room was accessible by elevator, with just a few stairs at the top, and Mario kindly helped us with our luggage. The room itself was a delightful surprise—spacious, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. Thoughtful details (such as robes and L’Occitane amenities) and a cozy layout made it feel like a true home away from home. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax after a day of exploring. Our room was impeccably clean and thoughtfully designed, featuring plush bedding, crisp linens, ample storage and modern amenities. The en-suite bathroom offered fluffy towels and a shower with great water pressure. Mornings begin with the delightful aroma of fresh coffee and a gourmet made-to-order breakfast served in a quiet dining room. With an attentive, friendly host who makes guests feel instantly at home, this bed and breakfast is more than just a place to stay — it’s a peaceful retreat where comfort, beauty, and hospitality come together to create a truly memorable experience
