Trip to the Minster

The house was warm and homely. It looked Christmasy as there was a tree in the living room. The location was excellent. Communication with the own was brilliant.

The dish cloth and pot brush didn't look hygienic. Disposable clothes would be better.

Everything, it was like a home away from home :)

Could have been more pillows for the bed, they were a bit flat. If we were staying more than 1 night, we would have had our own pillows with us.

Didnt get to stay

Area appeared quiet and close to the town centre

Didnt get to stay. Booking was for 4 nights. We did not receive an access code and calls and emails to the host and Booking.com went unanswered. We returned home.. Next day i emailed Booking com and the host regarding our lost evening. I simply received an access code and property information around 2pm . We were about to set off to try and set off for what was now a 3 night stay when i received an email from Booking.com to say the full booking was cancelled and we would be refunded. Poor communication all round.

Getting into the property was a problem because I wasn’t sent the key code or location Driving for 8 hours it was the last thing I needed Had to send a message and phone The bed mattress is hard on one side and soft on the other Needs changing or maybe turning

The location was perfect. A very quiet area. Nice to stroll into town from. The property had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay.

Enjoyed it overall, shame about the bed and noise carrying upstairs.

Location good, very clean and spacious. Well equipped. Nice conservatory and little patio.

We both found the bed too soft and uncomfortable, didn't sleep well and no soundproofing at all with it all being open plan so can hear every noise from downstairs kitchen and lounge in the bedroom on a morning. Very pretty but not practical layout if one person wanting a quiet lie in!

Always a Great Stay

Always a cracking stay at Alice's place. It is ideal for walking into Beverley, also the train station is literally an 8 minute walk. Had a lovely walk to the Minster this time. The house itself is in a very quiet area - always spotless. Only place for me to book when in Beverley

Perfect!

We only stayed here for one night - we had booked tickets for the light show at Beverley Minster and wanted somewhere close by. It turned out it was so close you could actually see the minster from the corner of the street and it was an easy walk into town to all the restaurants and amenities - never been to Beverley before but was generally impressed. The accommodation was perfect for the 2 of us - really cute balcony bedroom, lovely bathroom, 2 cosy settees and everything you needed in the kitchen. Considering how close it is to the centre of things it is also very quiet and there was plenty of parking available. We were emailed the code for the key box a couple of days beforehand so it was really easy to just move straight in. We loved it and would definitely recommend :-)

Very Disappointed, Pictures are old & misleading, tired and dirty and in need of some TLC ASAP

The location is spot on 10 mins walk from the town, restaurants, shopping Fast WI-FI

NOT Clean, House covered in cobwebs, especially the conservatory, the cleaners obviously don’t look up or down, Oven & Microwave dirty, crumbs, taps and plugs in sink dirty, cleaners need sacking, and the house its self needs some upkeep, The bed is a cheap one probably from ikea, and creeks if you dare to move during your sleep , TV not the one advertised in the picture changed for a smaller one, the dining table lags are falling off & chairs stained, light bulb in living room, and electric fire not working, overall very disappointing stay at 52 Minster

We could not gain access to the property and did not get the emails regarding access (possibly our fault - we were unable to receive internet messages whilst travelling). This was the only property on our fortnight of travelling at which we had no means of making contact with the owner. Even the neighbour was unable to help. A disaster.

Location was excellent. Nice walk in to Beverley. Added bonus was Tourist information on the way in. Plenty to see and visit.

Could not find instructions to cooker. Always been use to gas. Did use the oven but not sure of hob.

Perfect little hideaway

This little hidden gem was perfect so good that we booked again whilst we were there. Couldn't fault it . Parking was a bonus and so near to the town and the Minstrel. Communication with the owner was perfect as well

Very clean, off street parking, great location

The communication from the host, to be able to gain entry to the property. Off street free parking. Parking is at a premium in Beverley, so this is a bonus. Very clean and presentable property. Would highly recommend.
