Valentine's night out.

The fact we were able to check into the hotel when we arrived in the morning very early. Free car parking outside the hotel. The lift for ease of access to all floors.

No service, cold, facilities adequate

Clean and comfortable, bathroom was nice and shower acceptable.

Cold in rooms, heating only at set times, although a portable radiator was provided it still meant coming back to a cold room. Staff were not visible for the whole stay, not at check in check out or inbetween, which we found very rude.

Perfect for the weekend we had planned.

Arrived and my key was waiting for me, the room was larger than expected, warm, clean and fresh. The bathroom was massive and bright. The room was to the back of the hotel so there was no view but that was fine as the wind was up so it was surprising quiet and sheltered. Perfect location for the weekend and we accidently overslept but were allowed to lie in and check out later than we were meant to. Staff were friendly, will stay again.

Good traditional hotel on the seafront but you will pay more for a view.

No outlook from my room. Breakfast ok if you don’t mind food that has been hanging around for a while. Banana weetabix from a sealed packet and yoghurt all good.

Just a short overnight stay, but everything was fine and I would happily stay here again.

I was a bit puzzled by the TV, which appeared to offer all sorts of things like Disney and Netflix. But all I could get out of it were about ten channels on Freeview. But I found an ep of Midsomer Murders, and in any case, I wasn't on the Island to watch TV. But perhaps some instructions on how to get the best out of the TV would be useful.

Great location, cosy, clean & quiet rooms with friendly staff & a delicious breakfast

Room was very clean with a spacious and very well equipped bathroom, Nice soft comfy beds and pillows, just the space you need aorunf the activity we had planned. Breakfast was superb, with quick and efficient table service, missed so much these days. Nice surroundings with plenty of space around the tables and such polite staff it made breakfast a great start to our day

Nothing at all, plenty of stairs to the room, narrow at times but no problem with that as there was a lift we just didn't choose to use it

Easy check-in /out. Well fitted out room with a super bathroom.Hairdryer, tea coffee refillable on reception. Warm or opening windows. Superb breakfast choice with well laid out table and service.Right on the front with ample free parking

Great location on the promenade, nice room with sea view. Staff friendly and breakfasts excellent.

This is a great hotel in a brilliant location opposite the beach and within easy walking distance of both Douglas town and the Tram system. The check in was easy, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was also good. As a vegitarian i especially appreciated this! The staff were very good as well so i had a very nice short break here!

Stay at Caledonia

Room tended to every day. We had a family room with sea view which was beautiful. Location was brilliant. We were very handy to the electric tram and the town / shopping area was a nice walk along the promenade.

The weather was very hot during our week and with no air conditioning the room was very warm and hard to sleep at night but that wouldn't put me off returning.

Josephine and her team were friendly, helpful and attentive. The breakfast was spot on with plenty of tea and coffee to wash it down. The beds were very comfy and the extras, such as USB sockets right next to the bed where you can charge your watch/phone etc. addded a big bonus for extra convenience. The bathroom was clean and tidy and all of the tea/coffee facilities in the room were topped up every day. The lift was also an added plus especially when moving lots of bags and cases on check-in and departure. We had a lovely stay visiting family and managed to get in some sightseeing too.

There isn't anything I can suggest. I suppose that's a good thing ?!

The property was located on the sea front which was beautiful to look at, I have problems with my knees and the lift helped so much.

I struggled with the shower although it was a lovely shower due to having bad knees and hips it was hard for me to get in and out off.

Lovely staff, very polite. Our room was lovely itwas a spacious room with nice roomy bathroom. Good tea and coffee. Nice walk into town along the prom. Breakfast was good and served with a smile from the lovely staff

Room on 3rd floor after having conformation of low floor booking. Lift was great although was out of action for a couple of hours on two days. Stairs difficult for RA sufferer. Didn't spoil my stay though.

Nice home base for exploring the Island

As a Guest House, it was a lovely staff. The staff were very friendly and professional. The breakfast options were varied and delicious. It was conveniently located, after arrival, for exploring the island by foot, tram or bus.

Regrettably my room didn't have a view but if you are lucky to get one, the views would be amazing! Just across the road from the bay. Note that this guest house is located approximately 1.25 miles from the ferry port. You need a bus or taxi to get there with luggage.

The staff were very kind and efficient. Breakfast was served quickly and was served hot. Scrambled egg was especially good. On our departure day we were given an extensive takeaway continental breakfast for which we were very grateful

Beautiful location right on the sea front. Our room looked right out over the beach which was stunning to wake up to. Breakfast was lovely and good tea and coffee facilities in the room. Staff very friendly and helpful with recommendations of where to eat. Overall really lovely stay and very clean. Great value for money too.

Our only issue was the room being a bit warm, but in fairness our visit was during the 30 degree heat wave!

Great for dog owners and reasonably priced accommodation the island is lovely place to stay

In striking distance of everything, clean and allowed dogs perfectly placed for the beach, with tea and coffee every day in the room, beds were comfy would stop here again didn’t have breakfast so I can’t comment on that

Lovely sea view, handy for the ferry terminal, short walk to Nobles parkrun which was the purpose of our visit.

Despite arriving almost two hours later than planned, and after midnight, we were still able to check in effortlessly.
