Ayung Resort Ubud

we stay in a villa with a private pool. It was perfect. The staff are all very friendly. Just like in most locations in Bali, you need a driver. We loved to dine in the restaurant. The Nasi Goreng is the best we ever had.

Nothing serious. The whole place is very big thus you need a golf cart to go around. But it is easy to call one.

Just a sensational resort. Stunning location in the jungle, peaceful, monkeys and wildlife all around. Staff so attentive. Afternoon tea felt like we were royalty. Breakfast was divine. Couples massage and facial best we've ever had. Villa wiith pool was breathtaking inside and out. Just next level

Loved everything

Stay in the beautiful of nature is a beautiful experience and breakfast is good.

Due to the hotel’s high rating, we expected a much better experience. Unfortunately, the facilities are outdated, and the beds/ with metal frames—make a lot of noise, which affects comfort. The pool did not appear clean, and leftover food was left outside for hours... Additionally, the layout of the hotel is inconvenient. The buildings are spread out across a hill, and getting to the restaurant or reception requires to call a buggy from reception or significant effort to go up and down. Overall, the experience did not meet our expectations.

Very peaceful location with great views. Wait staff were very friendly throughout the stay, until we checked out then you are pretty much ignored.

The free complimentary 2pm checkout does not exist. We asked to extend our checkout and we’re told our room (a princess suite) was booked so we couldn’t extend our stay. We then asked if there was another room available and we were offered a different princess suite but had to pay an additional $80. We could have kept our room of there was another identical suite available. We checked out at 12pm our transfer didn’t arrive until 430pm we were ignored by all staff who had previously been nothing but amazing. When you’re no longer staying at the resort you are not treated well. The hotels services are overpriced. a taxi to ubud centre was $20 through the hotel or $5 for a private taxi. The evening food was pretty basic and cost 3x as much compared to Ubud centre You can order the free breakfast to your room but are then charged an additional $20 for this service which is not mentioned anywhere they like to add on additional $20 charges where they can.
