Staff were very helpful and beautiful greenery surroundings
Some bathroom accessories were a bit old and mouldy. The shower screen could have been cleaner

The staff were amazing and very accommodating for our large group. It's the second time we have visited and they honestly couldn't do enough for you. The restaurant food is well priced for what you get and there is a much larger variety now. You're literally mid jungle there so there's a lot of peaceful jungle noises in the morning which is nice and you have lovely views for breakfast. Obviously you get some bugs and things but that's to be expected in a rainforest setting. They aren't really set up for large parties as it's more of a boutique experience, but upon arrival they offered to put on events, meals, and special evenings for us which was so nice and friendly.
We had around 10 rooms booked and at least 5 of these has large sums of money stolen, either from suitcases or from the safes. (Over 19million IDR was unaccounted for) The manager of the hotel was very keen to help, but the investigation appears to have been "I have asked my staff if they took and they said no so that's our conclusion" I would still recommend this hotel as most of the staff are amazing but would keep my money in a locked suitcase only while staying here. It was denied that the cleaning staff had access to the safes, but when I returned on them mid clean the keys in the door had the safe key on it. We tried to report to the police with the help of the staff but they said we needed to provide a written, signed statement and then after we had left this was apparently not enough so we haven't got a resolution or a police report number which was needed for insurance claims. I know this is a really mixed review, but one or two bad apples shouldn't reflect poorly on the whole hotel.
